The girls are having the best time with the hiking group in the Peak District 🥰 So many proud mum moments, especially with Tammie making so many new friends 🥰🩷 Not long ago she was scared of new people and wouldn’t let them near her. On this trip she’s been so excited to meet people and asking for affection and we’d never met any of the 30 people here before. I’m so happy for her to have built up so much confidence 🫶

We’re officially on holiday 🥹 It’s been a testing year to say the least so we’re taking a break and enjoying nature and hiking for a while. We tried wild camping in our little campervan last night and it was a success. I’ve realised I have massively overpacked but that’s okay. It’s a learning experience. We’re heading to the Peak District this weekend and the Lake District next week which is a dream come true for me. I’ve wanted to go for years!
Foreign holidays don’t really appeal to me anymore. I lived and travelled abroad for most of my 20s and only returned from living in Vietnam less than a year ago. I can’t take my girls with me without massively stressing them out so I decided to get a little camper so I can take them anywhere I go and it’s the best decision ever. It’s extremely basic, think bed in a van with zero facilities but we have each other and that’s all we need 🥰

My evening view last night after spending my morning volunteering at the animal sanctuary, then spending the afternoon hanging out with a huge group of animal lovers, had a vegan bbq/potluck and played games. What a wholesome Saturday 🥰
