A statement from KM Elite:
It is with great sadness that we join Gatehouse Hats in mourning the passing of Bruno Goyens, Managing Director of Gatehouse Hats.
As Gatehouse’s UK distributor, KM Elite has had the privilege of working closely with Bruno and the Gatehouse team for many years. For us, this is not simply the loss of a business partner, but the loss of someone we have known, respected and worked alongside as part of the Gatehouse family.
Bruno made an enormous contribution to Gatehouse and to the equestrian industry. His passion, knowledge, commitment and vision helped shape the business and the brand that so many riders, retailers and customers know and value today. His legacy will undoubtedly live on through the company, its products and the people he has influenced throughout his career.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Bruno’s family, friends and colleagues, and with everyone at Gatehouse Hats at this incredibly difficult time.
We will, of course, continue to support the Gatehouse team and our UK retail partners, and KM Elite remains fully committed to Gatehouse and to the brand’s future in the UK.
For now, though, our thoughts are with those closest to Bruno as they come to terms with this very sad loss.
With our deepest sympathies,
Karl and Rebecca Middleton and the team at KM Elite Products
