Hi my name is Katie

I have always been passionate about dogs and grew up with Golden Retrievers. It wasn't until i moved out of London that i got my first dog Eric, followed by Duke and then Boo. It's because of these three that i wanted to ditch my retail job and to do something with dogs. In 2022 i realised i needed help with Boo, so i contacted a dog trainer. Fast forward a few sessions and a

spark for dog training was flickering. So i searched around and found a course for me. In 2023 i passed my final assessment to become a Certified Dog Trainer. I continue to study and improve my skills. I am trustworthy, reliable and i will look after your dog as if it was my own.

With temperatures looking much more comfortable next week, I am pleased to let you know that walks will be resuming as normal from Monday.

Thank you all for being so understanding while the temperatures were too high for safe walking. I know some dogs have enjoyed the extra drop-in visits, but I'm sure many are looking forward to getting back out and about with their friends!

As always, I'll keep an eye on the weather and make any adjustments needed to keep everyone safe and happy.

🌞 Important Hot Weather Update 🌞

After carefully monitoring the forecast, I've made the difficult decision to cancel all dog walks next week due to the extremely high temperatures expected.

This is not a decision I've taken lightly, but the health and wellbeing of the dogs in my care will always come first. With temperatures forecast to reach around 30°C, I don't feel it is safe to transport or exercise dogs, and I would never want to put them at unnecessary risk.

For dogs that would otherwise be home alone, I will be offering drop-in visits instead. These can include letting them out into the garden, refreshing their water, feeding if needed, and spending some time with them to keep them happy and comfortable.

I will continue to monitor the forecast closely throughout the week. If temperatures drop and it becomes safe to resume walks, they will be reinstated, and I'll let everyone know as soon as possible.

Thank you all for your understanding and continued support. I know many dogs love their walks, but on days like these, the kindest thing we can do is keep them cool, comfortable and safe. 🐾❤️

Ticks are absolutely everywhere at the moment, and I do my best to check dogs during and after walks to help prevent any unwanted hitchhikers coming home with them.

However, ticks are crafty little things and can be very good at hiding, so please make sure your dog's tick prevention treatment is up to date and continue to check them regularly, especially around the ears, neck, armpits, between the toes, and around the tail.

The earlier a tick is found and removed, the better. Let's work together to keep our dogs safe and happy while enjoying the great outdoors! 🐕🌳
