🐾🧡 SELF-CARE DAY SATURDAY FOR THIS DOG WALKER 🧡🐾

Before a busy week of adventures with my furry friends, it time to look after myself today 💪

This morning, me, Dash and Mavis headed off for a lovely 30-minute run around Blackhall Beach Banks. 🌊🐾 There's nothing quite like fresh sea air, happy dogs and getting the body moving to start the day right🐾🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🐾

As dog walkers, we spend hours on our feet, walking miles every week, lifting dogs, carrying equipment and navigating all sorts of terrain. Looking after our fitness isn't just important for us, it helps us continue providing safe, enriching adventures for the dogs in our care. 🧡🐾🧡

After our run, it was time for my monthly sports massage with the amazing Massage By Jade 💆‍♀️✨

Sports massage is something I really value because it helps.
🐾 Relieve tight muscles and tension.
🐾 Improve flexibility and mobility.
🐾 Reduce aches and pains.
🐾 Aid recovery from long days of walking. 🐾 Help prevent injuries.
🐾 Keep me feeling fit, healthy and ready for whatever the week throws at me.

Looking after ourselves isn't selfish , it's essential. If I want to give your dogs the very best care, adventures and enrichment, I need to make sure I'm taking care of myself too. 🧡

Now I'm feeling refreshed, recharged and ready for another week of wagging tails, muddy paws and happy adventures! 🐾🤎

🐾🧡 HOME BOARDING UPDATE 🧡🐾

Hello everyone and happy Friday 🐾🌞🐾

I've had quite a few enquiries recently regarding home boarding for both this year and next year, so I thought it would be helpful to explain how boarding works here at Champs Away Dog Services.

My home boarding service is reserved exclusively for the dogs that I walk regularly each week, along with a small number of long-standing returning boarders who have been with me from the very beginning.

There are several important reasons for this, all of which centre around the welfare, safety, and happiness of everyone involved.

🏡 As a family home, it is important that any dog staying with us already knows and feels comfortable around.

🐾 My family
🐾 My own dogs
🐾 Our daily routines and environment

Likewise, I know their personalities, individual needs, play styles, routines, triggers, and how they settle in a home environment. This allows me to provide the highest standard of care whilst ensuring they feel safe, secure, and relaxed during their stay.

🐶 Home boarding isn't simply about providing a place to sleep. It's about creating a calm and positive environment where all dogs can thrive. Introducing unfamiliar dogs into the home can be stressful not only for them, but also for my resident dogs and any other dogs staying with us.

🧡 The wellbeing of my children, my own dogs, and the dogs entrusted to my care will always come first.🧡

By only boarding dogs that I know well and have built a relationship with over time, I can ensure:
🐾 Safe and appropriate interactions
🐾 Compatible play styles and personalities
🐾 Reduced stress and anxiety
🐾 Consistent routines
🐾 A happy and relaxed home environment for everyone
