Thank you to everyone who takes the time, in the midst of your grief and loss, to leave a review of our service. They are all much appreciated.

Next week I will have a locum vet called Jasmine looking after Dignipaws and your pets, while I am taking a break.
Jasmine is an Australian vet, but she has been working in London for two years and she is coming up to stay in Gardenstown. ( Hence the tune!)
I hope Jasmine enjoys her visit to Aberdeenshire.

We have returned from our break and are available for home euthanasia visits in Peterhead, Fraserburgh, Turriff, Banff, Macduff and Aberdeen and surrounding areas.
We can also transfer your beloved pet to the pet crematorium of your choice within Aberdeenshire, if needed.
We provide a caring, compassionate and personal service in your own home.
We are pet owners ourselves, I have a Toy Poodle called Holly and an elderly cat called Mr Sprinkles.
Mr Sprinkles had one eye removed by the wonderful Anne-Marie at North East Veterinary Opthalmology service (NEVO) two years ago and he is now on medication for an overactive thyroid but despite all that he still manages to enjoy life and gives us a regular 6am wake up call.
Louise has two Cocker spaniels, a cat and several chickens.
We try, wherever possible, to provide this service as a planned service but we do realise that emergencies or urgent visits can be required and will do our best to attend when we can.
If you require a home visit from Dignipaws we will contact your own vet to request your dog or cat's clinical history and then we can arrange a day and time for our visit.
Our normal working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and on a Saturday by arrangement. We try to take a Sunday off.
We are profoundly aware of how difficult that initial telephone call can be.

Summer holidays!

Dignipaws will be closed from Saturday 11th July until Monday 27th July for a well-earned break.

Louise is heading off to Switzerland with her family.

Emergency cover ONLY will be provided during this period. In the first instance please contact your own veterinary clinic.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported Dignipaws so far and entrusted us with the care of your beloved family member.

We will return to normal service on Monday 27th July

This is my very own old boy Mr Sprinkles.
He is still a very handsome boy but only has one eye now after developing glaucoma. Anne-Marie at North East Veterinary Opthalmology (NEVO) was kind enough to remove his eye and now , two years later, he is still going strong. He gets daily medication for hyperthyroidism now, much to his disgust!

Dignipaws provides a peaceful home visit service for your cat or dog at the end of their life.
We come to your home, in Aberdeenshire, when needed. We are based in Fetterangus, near Mintlaw and travel to surrounding areas.
We are proud to support our wonderful local pet crematoriums in Aberdeenshire.
