Pet owners of Stamford and the surrounding area, please consider taking this survey if you have a couple of spare minutes. We are so limited with our out of hours provision. As a small independent family practice it would be impossible for us to provide a full night service alongside daytime cover. We are, however, very limited in what out of hours provision is out there and it often comes at a considerable cost both to us as a little business and to you as a client. Hopefully, by providing your feedback, we can help influence the options available in this area 🫶🏼

Mr Vet Van was getting super stuck in to the Sludge Surgery yesterday at Maggie’s Mates Dog Show in Carlby 🤣. We hope you enjoyed our game and most importantly the prizes!! Thank you for stopping by to say hello 👋🏼🫶🏼

What an absolute blast we had today! 😍 Thank you SO much to our sponsors and for providing prizes for our HUGELY popular SLUDGE SURGERY game. And of course thank you for inviting us to share their day.

We were delighted to meet so many new friends and faces and you were all amazing at trying our new game. The success rate at finding the elusive sock was about 10% and thankfully no one found the tick!! We will be collecting all things disgustingly gross ready for the next one 😜

I couldn’t believe we ran out of leaflets and goody bags so thank you 🫶🏼 so much for all your interest and support. We are very much a family run business and today we certainly had the whole family there supporting. Thank you Mr Vet Van, Hamish the Chocolate Lab, and my wonderful sister-in-law for all your help. (I also need to thank grandparents at this time too because we really couldn’t provide the service we do without your help and support with the Junior Vet Van members!!). What a day! 🫶🏼🥰

Important Announcement: Elle will be on Annual Leave from the 19th August- 1st September inclusive.

During this time all our registered clients will be supported by our wonderful partner practices Welland Valley Vets and Medivet Bretton during opening hours.

Welland Valley Vets will have limited availability for home visits but will be able to accommodate clients for in-practice visits. Rachel and her team are wonderful and will look after you all 💕

Elle will not have access to emails, phone, or WhatsApp during this time. Any enquires will be dealt with on her return.

If any repeat prescriptions or urgent appointments are required before then, we have limited availability left for Friday 14th and Tuesday 18th August. Thank you for your understanding 🥰

Oh Hamish! I think I’m like a besotted Aunt. I can’t get enough of this little man. The healing process after pet loss is different for everyone.
For some, the feeling of an empty house is unbearable. For others, it feels wrong to replace a much loved friend with a new puppy or kitten until a suitable mourning period has passed.

If you’ve lost a pet how long did you wait until considering a new friend?

I think I’m a way off looking for a new dog but I’m absolutely loving being able to borrow Hamish for snuggles. He had a check up today and he’s off to training classes soon so we gave him his Kennel Cough vaccination. He was a star and was more interested in stealing all the treats from my van! 😍

Please could any dogs with poor life choices consume their foreign bodies (socks, stones, carpet etc..) the week before 😂

Please could clients with repeat prescriptions ensure requests are in before this date to allow time to send out. All requests and emails will be dealt with on our return.

During this time our partner practices Welland Valley Vets in Stamford and Medivet & Partners (Bretton branch) will be on hand to help our registered clients should you need to be seen urgently during opening hours.
