Another day, another new face 👀

Meet Leo, the 3 year old Cockerpoo, a gorgeous boy with oodles of energy 😍

I’ve met Leo and his owner quite a few times when I’ve been out walking with my gang, so when they reached out to help with holiday cover I was more than happy to help.

Leo was a little nervous when I first picked him up, as this was totally new to him, but once he realised there was nothing to worry about he soon relaxed and had a lovely walk. Some dogs need a little time to get used to someone new and trust them, so we do everything at their pace and make sure they are comfortable 🥰

Time for a new face 🤩

Meet Dexter, the 7 year old miniature Dachshund 😍

Tiny in size, but he certainly makes up for it in personality. A sweet boy who loves to play ball 🎾

This gorgeous boy doesn’t need a regular walker, as he has his family at home to keep him company most of the time, but I get the pleasure of his company as and when they need it.

Yet another heatwave incoming 🥵

As always, your dog’s welfare is number one priority, so the usual hot weather policy applies.

Walks may be moved to an earlier slot, shortened, changed to a pop-in or (as a last resort) cancelled 😔

As much notice as possible will be given regarding changes, but please bear in mind that the forecast is not always as accurate as we would like 🫣

Remember “if in doubt don’t go out”, and pawrents remember your sun cream 😎

🐾 Shout out to all my fellow dog walkers checking the weather forecast 100 times a day, scheduling and rescheduling, working early mornings or late nights and more than likely losing money, because they also put the welfare of the dogs first 🐾

In addition to chaperoning Cooper & Gaia today, we were also taking care of 2 other family dogs back home…

Meet Rocky (black & tan) & Amber (golden) the 2 year old Cocker Spaniels 🐶🐶

Rocky is definitely the chilled half of this fur duo, where Amber is the energetic one 🤪 However they are both super friendly and love a cuddle 🥰

It’s been lovely taking care of them today, alongside Cooper & Gaia, while their family celebrate 🥂

Today we had the pleasure of chaperoning Cooper & Gaia to their pawrents wedding at the beautiful Holmewood Hall 💒

A lovely day, with dog-perfect weather, surrounded by their friends and family 🤍

We weren’t sure how long we would stay at the venue, as it’s always about only doing what is comfortable for the dogs, but they were amazing. We can’t wait to see the official photos! 🤩

Time for another couple of new faces 🐶🐶

Meet Nala the Labrador cross and Frankie the Border Collie cross 🐾🐾

A gorgeous pair, with very different personalities, and full of love. Nala can be a little nervous and Frankie needs to size you up when he first meets you, but once they are comfortable they will both come and say hello (especially if you have a treat) 🤍

We met their pawrents at the Newmarket Wedding show last year, but on this occasion they weren’t looking for a wedding chaperone.

Whilst it is lovely seeing peoples pet dogs attend their wedding, it’s not the right environment for all. Some dogs just don’t cope in overwhelming social situations, or they just don’t feel comfortable, and no cute photo is worth putting a dog in a situation they aren’t happy in!

With Nala being nervous, her owners knew straight away that attending the wedding wouldn’t be right for her, but as everyone that usually takes care of Nala & Frankie would be at the wedding, they needed to find someone they could trust and that’s where we came in. Nala and Frankie got to stay at home, with me for company, while everyone got to have an amazing time at the wedding without having to worry about them 🥰

Happy 3rd Anniversary to my incredible husband 🤍

3 years ago I married my best friend. Back then I hadn’t yet realised that having our dog at our wedding would lead me to building a dog care business, with wedding chaperoning at the heart of it.

Just over 12 months later, the business was launched and Callum would double as a second handler and my glamorous assistant (along side his day job).

Happy anniversary Callum, and thank you for everything you do and all the pups you have helped be part of their pawrents special day 💒🤍
