FOX POO ON YOUR DOGS FUR/HAIR
This is something I have recently heard of and my friend Pat has just reminded me I was going to do this post.
So they say, tomato ketchup is a traditional home remedy used to help neutralize the strong, oily odor of fox poo on dogs because its acidity helps cut through the stench. 🤔
How they say to use it (I've never tried).
Scrape or wipe off any poo from your dog’s fur/hair before getting them wet.
Apply ketchup: Rub tomato ketchup liberally directly into the smelly, dry or slightly damp fur/hair.
Wait: Leave the ketchup on the affected area for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Rinse and shampoo: Wash the ketchup out thoroughly with warm water, then follow up with a proper dog shampoo to remove leftover residue and tomato scent.
Things to Keep in Mind:
Staining risk: Ketchup can temporarily tint light-colored, white, or porous coats with a pink or red hue.
Not a total fix, but there are alternatives out there.

As I said above, I have never tried, but I would if the dog was mine 😊
