We moved to new purpose build premises in 2001, to provide the very best veterinary service; with a central location, easy access, plenty of parking, reception space, treatment rooms and a dedicated eq

uine centre. Our vet centre offers a comfortable waiting area (with a dedicated small animals waiting area), an on-site dispensary and laboratory (which means that we can provide a faster diagnosis). We also have an isolation ward, and diagnostic and surgical suite, to offer your animals the very best care available.

Sadly we have had a deceased entire male ginger cat left outside the practice over night. He is not microchipped. If you think this might be your cat please phone the practice on 01738 621415.

Update : He was found on Jeanfield road (near the best one shop) between 11:30 and 11:50pm last night.

🤩🐰 Meet Nyla and Nia 🐰🤩

We recently had these two lovely girls in to get spayed here at the practice; Nyla and Nia are two years old and are fostered by a local client of ours who is part of the Beloved Rabbits foster network.
The Beloved rabbit's foster network feels passionately about how important it is to get our rabbits spayed, not only does this prevent unplanned litters it also prevents the risk of uterine cancer, which is the most common type of cancer in rabbits. 40% of unneutered females will develop tumours by two years old and this doubles by the age of six.

Nyla and Nia's procedure was done on the back of this information and to start the process of them living a life full of love with their future owners. 🤞🏻💓

We are delighted to say that these two are currently looking for their forever homes!! For rabbits like these the we would love to find a home for them that can provide a nice big space for them to have a good run about in! They love to play and nibble on cardboard tubes full of tasty hay, they are friendly girls and will even take treats from your hand. They really are a lovely pair, Nyla is definitely the more confident of the two with Nia following her lead. You can tell them apart by the difference in their lovely smooth coats, Nia has a band of black tips through the hair on her body. How Cute! 🥰

Brocgh visited us today after a pesky grass seed got stuck in his ear! After a quick sedation the grass was successfully removed and hopefully Brocgh feels a lot better now 🙏🏻

Do be warned when taking your furbaby in for a weigh and worm there is a very high risk they will be stolen through to the back for cuddles and treats 🥰
