Hi folks - just to raise awareness of one of our two major projects - as well as developing a wildlife garden complete with outdoor hedgehog runs we also want to upgrade our hutches in the rehab cabin. A recent appearance on That’s TV Tayside offered an opportunity to share this. Please watch this space for all our upcoming fundraisers.

We have released lots of hedgehogs over the course of the last few months - here are just two we released yesterday - both came in as tiny poorly souls.
Simba and Cody both back home where they were found. Both finders are offering a hedgehog house and support feeding - this is so important as hedgehogs continue to struggle to find food and water in this very dry summer. Good luck both A have a great life!

Remember Pepper? One of the two little hoglets who came in at only two days old back in July? She had a wee setback in August when she went off her food and lost weight. Following treatment for a bacterial gut infection she began to pick up and hasn’t looked back since - though she still isn’t quite sure she’s a hedgehog and walks towards our hands when we clean her out 😂 (give her another few weeks and she’ll be huffing with the best of them!)
