Having worked on a variety of different yards in the past 12 years I have gained a wealth of experience with a range of equines; kids ponies to competition horses; foals to stallions; Shetlands to Heavy Horses. I have a calm quiet nature which lends itself to working with equines of all types, especially young and nervous horses. I have great time keeping skills, take pride in my work and keeping any workspace clean and tidy with great attention to detail. I believe in giving each horse the time it needs, especially when it comes to backing, every horse is an individual and may need more time at different stages of the process. My riding experience includes: exercising and fitness work with event horses; exercising and schooling kids ponies; backing and bringing on young horses including Highland ponies, other native pony breeds, Clydesdales, sport horses; horses with schooling problems. Ridden Showing - most recently producing a ridden Clydesdale and going on to win the Novice Ridden at the World Clydesdale Show 2022.
