🐾 Why Booking Ahead Matters for Your Dog’s Coat & Welfare 🐾

Penwith Paws is now nearly at full capacity, which is wonderful — and it also means I need to manage appointments carefully to make sure every dog gets the consistent care they deserve.

Regular grooming isn’t just about looking tidy. It’s essential for:

🐶 Coat health — preventing matting, breakage and discomfort
🐶 Skin condition — allowing the skin to breathe and stay clean
🐶 Comfort and mobility — especially for active or older dogs
🐶 Behaviour and confidence — dogs feel safer and happier with a familiar routine

To keep every dog on track, booking ahead guarantees your regular slot. This helps me plan the diary fairly and ensures your dog doesn’t go too long between appointments.

Because I’m nearly full, if a dog goes more than 4 months (unless already on a longer schedule) without being seen, their slot will be offered to a new client who needs regular, welfare‑based grooming. This isn’t a punishment — it’s simply to keep the schedule running smoothly and prioritise dogs who need consistent coat maintenance.

🐾 A Special Home Needed for Two Bonded Boys (Ages 8 & 10)

This is a sensitive rehoming request for two lovely male dogs who have spent their whole lives side by side. They are deeply bonded, rely on each other for comfort, and must stay together — they will not be separated.

These boys are 8 and 10 years old, calm, affectionate, and incredibly loyal. They adore human company and each other, and they thrive in a peaceful, steady environment.

About the Boys

• Gentle, sweet-natured, and well-mannered
• A bonded pair — must be rehomed together
• Enjoy gentle walks, companionship, and a predictable routine
• Prefer a calm home with kind, patient people

Important Needs

• They do not cope well being left alone for long periods
• They need someone who is home often or can provide plenty of company
• A secure garden and a quiet lifestyle

These boys have so much love to give. They simply need a stable, understanding home where they can stay together and feel safe.
