🌪️ STORM GORETTI TRIED HER BEST… BUT SO DID WE 🌪️

K9 Kennels took quite the beating — fences down, trees down, roofs doing their best impression of kites, and one or two things we’re still not sure where they landed. Goretti really went for the dramatic effect.

But thanks to our incredible staff and the amazing Bunclark and Roberts families, we’ve made huge progress getting everything repaired. Muddy boots, tired arms, big hearts — they’ve done it all.

We’re grateful, we’re laughing through the chaos, and we’re getting back on our paws one plank, panel, and tree branch at a time.

Thank you for your patience and support — the dogs are safe, the biscuits are stocked, and the spirit at K9 Kennels is unshakeable.

A few photos below of the progress so far, don’t get us wrong, this isn’t everything, but definitely a good start to getting back to normal 💪 (business open as usual ☺️)

🐾 Dear K9 Kennels Family,

We hope this message finds you and your furry companions happy, healthy, and ready for more tail-wagging adventures! 🐕✨

Just a quick reminder — we are closed on Sundays! As a small family-run business, we (and the dogs!) need one day to rest, recharge, and give the kennels a thorough clean so we are ready for another busy week of wagging tails.

You’re very welcome to collect or drop off your dogs between 8:00 and 9:00 am on Sunday. If that’s not possible, Monday morning collection or drop off is absolutely fine too.

We also wanted to give you a friendly update on how we handle our boarding charges, so everything is clear and easy. When your dog arrives, they jump right into the fun — enjoying walks in our secure fields and soaking up plenty of snuggles and attention. Because they make the most of the day from the moment they arrive, we start the daily boarding charge from their arrival day.

However, if you collect your dog by 9:00 am on their last day, there is no charge for that day — just like checking out before breakfast time at a hotel! Your pup still leaves happy and tired from all the fun they have had.

Thank you so much for your understanding and for supporting our little family business. We hugely appreciate you and your amazing pups — and we promise to keep the love, fun, and wagging tails coming every single day! 💛
