We were asked to attend the Cumberland Show this weekend just gone. All went smoothly and there seemed to be a lot of interest in the dogs working which was nice.

Looking for ✨Lambing Helper✨ from 13th of April for around two weeks.

Not looking for a full time lamber so this would be ideal for a vet student or someone looking to learn/ someone not from a farming background. It’s Not a fully paid position but board and lodgings with us in the house provided and something would be given for your help.

Mainly helping along side myself, daily tasks with some indoor lambing, shepherding outdoor lambers. You would learn all sorts from solving lambing problems , sheep husbandry and shepherding skills , marking / castrating etc.

Based in the Lake District - We are a friendly family team and happy to let you have time off when it’s not too busy.

We have a few litters planned this year between myself and Dad ( Winter Crag and Killiebrae) Please message for health results and pedigrees!

Winter Crag Nala X Ben ( J. Tulloch)
Nala is a top quality Bitch, she is my main working Bitch and I think very highly of her. She is mated with John Tulloch's Ben who is also a very good quality dog, fast and responsive with a lot of his own natural talent.

Winter Crag Penny X Sweep
Penny is a nice young bitch with a lot of natural ability, she's gone to Sweep which is the same breeding as Winter Crag Nala. Pups will be the siblings to Nala and Nxy.

Braehead Dot X Claric Sam
Dot is dads main working and Trialing Bitch , she was the Englidh driving champion and is a top notch Bitch. It should be a lovely cross with Sam. Sam is dads young Nursery dog who has won the aggregate this nursery season .

Winter Crag Nyx X Claric Sam

This is a repeat mating as the first litter have turned out so nicely.
Nyx is a very good working and trialling Bitch, placed in several Nursery and Novice trials.
