As lovely as it is walking in this warm, dry weather, the land is beginning to look almost desert-like. After last winter, when it seemed to rain for two months solid, I never thought I’d be wishing for rain—but our beautiful countryside and wildlife desperately need it now. 🐾🌧️

Still no sign of any rain as we head towards almost two months without it. The ground is so dry now and I really feel for the wildlife struggling to find enough water. Even the trees are beginning to show the strain, with their leaves already turning yellow from the lack of rain.
We desperately need a good few days of steady rain now. 🌧️
