😂 BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY! 😂

Today is officially the day where nobody knows what day it is, what time it is, or what they’re supposed to be doing! 🤣

The kids are still off school…
The alarm clocks are switched off…
The house is full of snacks…
And the dogs are wondering why everyone is STILL at home! 🐶😂

Meanwhile, us parents are counting down the hours until the kids go back next week… 👀🤣

So today’s plan is simple:

☕ Drink coffee
🍫 Eat rubbish
🛋️ Do absolutely nothing
🐶 Cuddle the dogs
😴 Pretend tomorrow isn’t Tuesday

🐾🌎 OKAY… WE’RE A LITTLE LATE! 😂 🌎🐾

It’s nearly 7pm and we’ve only just realised it’s INTERNATIONAL DOG DAY! 🤦‍♀️😂

But to be fair… if you’re a dog, every day is International Dog Day anyway! 🐶👑

Today we celebrate the little (and not so little!) four-legged bosses who:
🐾 Own the sofa
🐾 Own the bed
🐾 Own the entire house
🐾 Expect treats on demand
🐾 And somehow convince us that they have never, ever been fed before… despite eating 20 minutes ago! 😂

So whether your dog has spent today being walked, spoiled, pampered, sleeping on the sofa or generally causing chaos…

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DOG DAY! ❤️🐶

And a huge shoutout to all of our gorgeous Pride & Groom pooches — we absolutely LOVE seeing your furry faces coming through our doors. 🥰✂️🐾

Now it’s nearly bedtime, so go on… give them an extra cuddle.

Not that they need an excuse to be spoilt! 😂❤️

✨🐾 ERIC & ERNIE — OUR LITTLE DUO! 🐾✨

Sometimes I think the smaller dogs don’t get enough appreciation for just how much goes into keeping them happy, healthy and looking their best! 🥰

And then we have Eric & Ernie… two of our absolute super regulars and two little characters that I honestly adore. ❤️

These two come in for their regular Bubble Bath 🫧, nail clips ✂️, teeth cleaning 🦷, D-Shed treatment and a good pamper from head to toe including Amal glands 🫣

They might be little, but there’s certainly no shortage of personality between these two! 😂 They know exactly what they’re here for and have become such a special part of the Pride & Groom family.

Regular treatments aren’t just about making your dog look gorgeous — keeping nails at a comfortable length, maintaining good dental hygiene, removing dead coat and giving their skin and coat a proper clean all play a part in keeping them comfortable too. 🐶💕

So whether your dog is a tiny terrier or a giant floof… every dog deserves their little salon day! 🛁✨

Just a little heads-up for our lovely customers 🐶☀️

Holly is in the salon on her own today and tomorrow, and as she doesn’t offer a**l gland appointments, there will be NO a**l glands available until Friday.

If your dog is booked in for a groom, everything else is running as normal — this only applies to a**l glands. 🛁✂️🐾

Thank you as always for your understanding! 💕
We’ll be back to our usual service from Friday.

🐾✨ WELCOME TO PUPPY ACADEMY, BENTLEY! ✨🐾

Another gorgeous little pup joined us at Pride & Groom today! 💕 Meet Bentley 🐶💙

Bentley has officially started his Puppy Academy journey and honestly… he absolutely smashed his first visit! 🥹👏

He was such a good boy, taking everything in his stride and showing us that he’s going to be a little grooming superstar! ⭐️✂️

We can’t wait to watch his confidence grow with every visit and see him turn into a proper little pro. 🥰

Well done Bentley — 10/10 for your first day! 🐾💙

☀️🐾 HOT WEATHER WARNING! 🐾☀️

It’s officially TOO HOT TO HANDLE today! 🥵😂

We’ve got amazing air conditioning at the salon, so your furry babies will be lovely and cool once they’re here ❄️🐶🐱 — BUT please be really careful getting them to us.

🚗 Cars get HOT very quickly, even with the windows open.
🐾 Pavements can become scorching, so please check them before walking.
💧 Bring some water and keep journeys as short as possible.
☀️ If your dog is struggling with the heat, please don’t risk bringing them out unnecessarily — give us a call and we’ll always do our best to help.

And remember… your dog may think they’re a hot dog, but we definitely don’t want them arriving as one! 🌭😂

We’d much rather have you arrive a little late and safe than rush in this heat. ❤️

Stay cool, keep those paws protected and we’ll see you in our lovely chilled-out salon! ❄️🐾

Tonight, we’re swapping the grooming table for a little bit of celestial magic! 🌙☀️

We’ve got our Pride & Groom logo ready for its close-up as we wait for tonight’s eclipse… because obviously even the moon needs a little bit of Pride & Groom! 😂🐾

There’s something pretty magical about standing outside and watching the sky do its thing. 🌌✨

So tonight, get your dogs, get your humans, look up and enjoy the show! 🐶❤️

Just remember… never look directly at the Sun without proper eclipse-safe eye protection! 👀☀️
