Roo🕊️💔
A bit of a sad post to start the year, TLC Equestrian has taken its first loss of a very much loved furry client.
I try to steer away from having favourites, but this beautiful boy really came in and left his hoof print on my heart.
Roo lived one of the best lives his owners could possibly give him. He had everything he ever needed and I’m so glad I got to be a part of making his life the best it could be.
I’ve laughed, I’ve cried and I’ve learnt so much from these animals, non are the same making each bond unique.

32 years young, full of personality and smarter then most people, you were one of a kind Rupert♥️
I’ll miss the love bites, the bedtime boots, him taking me for his walks, and especially dodge the nebuliser, that was always his favourite game🤕.
I already miss his company, the yard isn’t the same, I’ll miss you shoo-pert, sleep tight old boy x

I don’t normally do this but this gorgeous man deserves a post of his own.
The legend himself minstrel, aka mini♥️

Infact this man deserves the world and more (which his owner gives him daily in his retirement)♥️
I feel grateful to have been given the opportunity to care for a horse that once cared for me.
I’ve known minstrel since I first started riding at the age of 7, he helped teach me how to ride in straight lines and rather wonky ones too.
He always had a knack of getting you the best feedback from the instructors. “sit back, heels down, sit up, sit up! Well sat!” Mini did that.

Over the years we went from learning rising trot to “trot him up let’s see if he’s sound” The roles reversed.
For 3 years he then took part in teaching me how to care for him, how to listen, have fun and most importantly to have patience.
Theres so many memories, life lessons and nostalgia that comes flooding back when looking into those big doe eyes.

And now in his old age I’ve found myself simply returning the favour — caring for him the way he cared for me, the way he showed me how.

A little groom, mane and tail pull for cybs this afternoon🪮
It’s been a long while since I’ve done any manes and tails🙈 however cybs stood like a saint for me and even had a little snooze.
She woke up with considerably less hair but looking like a new pony!

It’s been a busyy start to the year 2025! I’ve had so many snouts to be snuggled!
Of course here at TLC Equestrian we don’t just stand around snuggling snouts.. at least not all day!
Here are some of the lovely ponies and horses I care for, each and every one of them gets my 110% care and attention.
