Hunter’s Hounds Roving Ruff Report🐾

Riders Retreat & Handlebar Grill, Tweed Valley🐾

Hello hoomans! 🐾 It’s me, Nala, Hunter’s Hounds’ Roving Ruff Reporter, and I’ve been out on an important investigative assignment… checking out whether the Riders Retreat Tweed Valley & Handlebar Grill is worthy of a Nala paws-up! 🐾

And my verdict is… What a good dog-friendly spot in the heart of the Tweed Valley! 🐾 After all that sniffing, exploring and general doggy business, it’s the perfect place for the humans to refuel while we dogs get to relax too!🐾

A special mention has to go to Michael and his team, who made us feel so welcome. 🐾 And I was impressed that they even provide bowls of fresh water for their four-legged visitors without my Hooman having to ask — now that’s what I call proper dog-friendly hospitality! 🐾💦

The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and outdoorsy — exactly what you’d hope for in the Tweed Valley. 🐾

So, after a thorough professional inspection, I can officially confirm that Riders Retreat & Handlebar Grill gets a waggy-tail thumbs-up from me! 🐾👍

Would I come back? Yep! Would I recommend it to my fellow four-legged friends? You bet your favourite squeaky toy I would!🐾

Rusty… who clearly misunderstood the assignment when we said “go enjoy your walk”! 😂🐾

Some dogs come home looking fresh, fluffy and fabulous… and then there’s Rusty! 🤣 Covered from head to paw in mud and looking extremely pleased with himself! 🫣🐾

Safe to say, Rusty had a very good walk! 😂🐾

Unfortunately, Rusty wasn’t quite as impressed with the washdown and towel rub afterwards… apparently, getting cleaned up was not part of his plan! 😂🛁🐾
