Puppy love this morning for this little lady who is struggling when she can't see mum during the day.

Puppy separation problems are never a case of let them cry it out.

Neither is it a case of distraction with a chew.

Puppies need secure attachment and routine.

We looked at

- how to deal with barrier frustration
- how to introduce feeding toys properly
- creating routine
- a protocol for training alone time and when is the best time of day to do this

I'm confident both Mum and Pup will nail this!
I look forward to catching up with them in a couple of weeks

This mess took 2 days for me to unravel!

I did it because I needed it. Did it drive me mad? Yep!

But patience won out.

Dog reactivity, fear, excitement, or frustration can't change overnight.

If your dog has always been nervous of visitors or barking at dogs, it may take several months to improve.

And that's if you follow a consistent plan and do the work.
