🐾🇳🇿 Next stop, New Zealand for Vinnie & Rory! ✈️

Meet Vinnie and Rory, who recently visited us at Dedicated Pet Care Clinic before making the big move to New Zealand! 🐶💙

With quite a bit of preparation involved in travelling to New Zealand, these two were finally at the last stage of their vet work.

We completed their Export Health Certificates along with their required treatments, getting the final paperwork sorted before their flight.

🇮🇩🐾 Travelling to Indonesia With Your Pet?

Planning a move to Indonesia with your furry companion? There are a few important steps to complete before your pet can jet off on their next adventure! ✈️

Here's what you need to know when travelling from the UK.

🐾 Step 1: Microchip & Vaccinations

Your pet must be microchipped and fully vaccinated, including rabies.

All required vaccinations must be completed at least 30 days before travel and be no older than 12 months.

🩸 Step 2: Rabies Blood Test

Your pet will need a rabies antibody blood test, usually carried out around 30 days after their latest rabies vaccination.

The result must be at least 0.5 IU/ml.

🩺 Step 3: Fit to Fly Certificate

Before applying for the import permit, your pet will need a Fit to Fly Certificate completed by a vet, confirming they are healthy and fit for travel.

📋 Step 4: Import Permit

Once the blood test and Fit to Fly Certificate are completed, you can begin arranging your pet's Indonesian import permit.

✈️ Step 5: Final EHC

Almost ready for take-off!

Your pet will need a final health examination and Export Health Certificate (EHC) completed by an Official Veterinarian within 5 days of departure.

First pet: £145
Additional pets: £95 each

💙 Australia & New Zealand
Due to the additional paperwork involved, these certificates are priced slightly differently.

First pet: £225
Additional pets: £110 each

🏡 Home visits are also available throughout Scotland and the Borders for an additional fee.

🐾🇺🇸 Kenai's heading to the USA! ✈️

This lovely boy is Kenai, who recently made the journey across the Atlantic to the USA, with a little trip through Europe along the way! 🐶💙

As Kenai was transiting through the EU, he needed some additional paperwork before his flight. We helped get him ready by completing his EU Animal Health Certificate along with his Fitness to Travel Certificate.

Even when the EU isn't your final destination, travelling through it can mean extra paperwork, so it's always worth checking your route before setting off!

🐾🇿🇦 Rio & Raven are South Africa bound!

Two very different faces, but one big adventure ahead! 😍 Rio and Raven came to Dedicated Pet Care Clinic to get their Export Health Certificates completed before making the journey to South Africa.

With the final paperwork signed and ready, it was officially time for these two to get on their way. ✈️🐱🐱

We loved having you both with us — especially that very content little face from Raven! 😂💙 We hope the journey went smoothly and you’re both settling into life in South Africa.

Travelling to Japan takes a little more planning than most destinations, but Loki has made it to the final step! 🐱

After all the preparation, Loki came to see us at Dedicated Pet Care Clinic to have his final Export Health Certificate completed before heading off on his big journey to Japan.

It’s always lovely seeing a pet reach the end of a longer travel process and finally be ready to go. 💙

Beautiful Lulu came to visit us for the final piece of paperwork before her travels — her Export Health Certificate for Thailand. 💙

With her EHC completed and everything signed off, this gorgeous girl was ready to leave Scotland behind and start her journey to somewhere a little warmer! ☀️🐱
