What a welcome back we got today 🤭
We still have some pups in jail after their kennel cough quarantine time but hopefully the whole gang will be back together by next Monday ❣️

Even the torrential rain and pups needing their jackets on didn't dampen anyone's spirits 😎

Bella, Archie and Lucca acted like they hadn't been out for a month with all the zoomies and chases ☺️
Riley couldn't decide if he was in a playing mood or in a bad mood about the rain 😆 and poor Buddy was just not feeling it so he had to get a wee lead on. Cagney had a wild time as she always does 😍 and Winston was just so happy to see his girlfriend Maddie joining in her happy rolls 🤭
Darcie was just so happy there was a ball - the fact that the rest of us were there wasn't really relevant 🙄🤣🤣 xx

We are so sad to tell you that one of our old boys Lincoln has been put to sleep for the last time 💔

Lincoln's mum and dad contacted me before they even had secured a puppy and when I walked in their house the first day they had him and seen this teeny bundle of chocolate fur standing out in the torrential rain doing a wee on an AstroTurf patch on his decking - I was a goner 🥹

Fortunately for Linky I remained a goner on him til he retired from us!
The trouble that boy got me into over the years 🤦🏻‍♀️ he didn't like joggers, cyclists, hats, walking sticks, prams, children 🫣

But he absolutely loved and enjoyed a mutual adoration with our mini apprentice. Linky suffered through a lot of tea parties and stories bless him 🤣 and he generally let Abigail hang off him whenever she liked. He had the patience of a saint 😇

And as he grew up he was so patient with the younger pups as well.

His mischief making buddies were many and varied over the years - he loved stick tugs of war with Sparkle, Bailey, Marvin, Poppy, Loopy Lou, Barney, Gunner and Jarvis.
If there was no one interested Linky would make sure he was at the back of the gang and continually bash the back of our legs with the stick just to remind us of his trophy.

And there was many a laugh at watching Linky try and fit his stick he was carrying across the bridges. Ten mins at a time he could spend trying all angles and dropping it and picking it up again. He was very determined boy 💪🏻🐾

But his besties in the whole wide world were his lab buddies Apollo, George and big Alfie.

The noises that those boys made when they were wrestling turned many a head 🤣 and they had absolutely no spatial awareness so they just thumped through anything in their way 🤣🤣

But really Lincoln was the biggest gentle giant. If he wanted a cuddle he would quite happily climb up and 'sit' on your knee, squish around and get comfy - and that was me stuck for the next two hours as there was no moving my big snory lump 🤭😴

He was loved by so many people and will be so missed.

Little Miss Robyn Scott decided that her newly groomed hair do wasn't beautiful enough and she would embellish it with some 🦆💩🙄 fortunately for us it was all on her harness!!

And this morning Lucca was so excited that his older twin Biscuit was back out to play 😊 while Maya was most excited that her mud pit was back after the recent rain 😱 we are not so sure that her Daddy was that excited when he seen her tho 🫣

So we didn't really know what to be most excited about today 🤔😳 the new play stuff in the dog park, or Teddy being back out to play 🥰. So we made sure we gave every inch and everything a good sniff 👃, and then we had lots and lots of fun 🐾🐾💗 xx

Fergie was back out to play after a summer hols at home with his Mum and we were a bit upset when he didn't appear at the window as normal at the sound of the van. But I think he thoroughly enjoyed his rude awakening from his nap when he realised it was his aunties at the door and his friends were outside raring to go 🤭

It might have looked dull and dreich in the woods but the pups had an amazing time ☺️
There was lots of mud to squelch in, water in the burn for a wee paddle, juicy wet grass to be munching on and dead 🦌 to be sniffing out 🤦🏻‍♀️!!.

Lucca was sporting more of a dapper, older look today after his groom but Nova still loved him 😻 phew 😌 😆
We went a wee adventure so there was dips in the burn ( and a wash for Kika 🙄 after she treated herself to a roll in 🦊 💩) and lots of running around.

Some pups had brambles as a wee treat 😛 and some preferred the less fruity option 🍪 but everyone had lots of fun xx

We were all excited to see Auntie Lornie out today with Maddie and Darcie.
But Cagney and Rex only had eyes for each other 😻
And Theo was slightly antisocial for about ten minutes after our 'Go search'.
Everyone did their search and found their treats and away we went for another walk.
But Theo insisted on staying behind for about 10 mins just to super triple double check that no one had missed a crumb and left it behind for him 👃🏻🐽👃🏻 😂
Honestly he wouldn't take my word for it we were 'all done'.
Reminded me of my wee Minnie Mouse 🐁 - she was the expert triple double checker that no crumbs were ever left behind - anywhere - ever!! 🤭🤣🥹
You crack us up everyday babies 😘 xx

Loves young dream Lucca and Nova were running rings round everyone this morning 😻

And Harris decided he wasn't competing with Clyde, Maya, Bella and Theo for the ball anymore so he got his hayfever suffering Auntie K to play his favourite game - catch the grass 😆

Buddy and Maisie were enjoying their wee kisses and sniffs but were actually enjoying their rolling the most❣️

And this afternoon Barney Boy was strutting his stuff in amongst his wee hareem. And after the initial sniffs and kisses the girls couldn't have cared less as they were far too busy enjoying their sniffs and paddling in the burn (obviously not Miss Millie though - don't be ridiculous - she doesn't 'do' wet paws 🙄👸🏻🤣)

What's the best fun in the world apart from running around with your besties having fun in the morning sun 🤔
Apparently it's waiting at a garage while the vans puncture got repaired and getting tummy rubs the whole time 😂😍

Very literally bowled over with love we were today 🎳🎳🎳🎳

Both Aunties ended up on their bum in the wet grass because apparently it was time for cuddles whether we were ready or not 🤣🤣

Then before you know it it's a pile on session with lots of kisses thrown in for good luck 👅👅👅

So if you asked us while we were standing there in wet shorts and slevery faces - would we have it any other way 🤔 - absolutely not❣️

Not many jobs nowadays you can go home 100 percent confident in your customer satisfaction levels 🤣🤣🤣 xx
