🐾 The final dog in the salon today was Kiki the American Akita, and what an absolutely gorgeous girl she is! 🐶✨

Now, Kiki can be a little wary of new people and is definitely not a fan of having her feet touched… so I knew I had to earn her trust first! 😂

We spent a little time getting to know each other, with Kiki giving me a few low growls just to make sure I understood the rules of our new friendship! 😅🐶

But then came the bath…

And Kiki was straight in! No fuss, no drama. It was almost like she said, “Ohhhh, a bath? Why didn’t you say so? I’m a professional at this.” 😂🛁

From that moment on, we were basically besties! ❤️

She was such a good girl for her bath, and then came the drying… which felt like it lasted approximately 47 business days thanks to all that beautiful Akita fluff! 😂💨

Eventually, we got there! Once Kiki was dry and looking like a giant fluffy cloud, I gave her coat a good brush through to remove all the remaining loose hair.

Safe to say… Kiki left the salon looking beautiful, and the salon was left wearing half of her coat! 😂🐾

After picking out a gorgeous bandana, this beautiful girl was ready to go home. 💕

Thank you for trusting me today, Kiki! You might have been unsure of me at first, but by the end, I think we had a pretty good little friendship going. 🥰 See you again soon, beautiful girl! ❤️🐶

🐾 Next in the salon today was the lovely Mabel! 🐾

Mabel is such a sweet girl, but don’t let that innocent little face fool you… she definitely knows how to be a little bit spicy when she needs to! 😂🌶️

After starting our appointment with the all-important cuddles, we got straight into the bath. 🛁 We used our gorgeous Peanut & Pickle strawberry and vanilla shampoo, leaving Mabel smelling absolutely amazing! 🍓🍦

Then it was time for drying… and Mabel had a few words to say about that! 😂 After giving the dryer a good telling off, she soon realised it wasn’t going anywhere and we managed to get her all lovely, dry and fluffy. 🥰

Once she was looking like a little cloud, it was time for her haircut! Her owners like to keep her on the shorter side, so that’s exactly what we did, taking her nice and short and giving her a fresh new look. ✂️🐶

And just look at her now… all beautiful, fresh and feeling fabulous! 😍✨

Always lovely to see you, Mabel, even if you do keep me on my toes sometimes! 😂💖

✨ Back to the salon… and who better to kick off my first day back from holiday than Boris! ✨🐶

Today was my first day back, and Boris was the first one through the door! 🥰 It was lovely to see his familiar little face again.

Boris is such a lovely boy. He can feel a little bit anxious when his owner first leaves, but after a little reassurance and some time to settle in, he was soon feeling much more comfortable. ❤️

We started off with a quick pre-cut to take some of the bulk off before heading into the bath. Boris was such a good boy and stood beautifully while getting all nice and clean! 🛁🫧

Next up was drying, which Boris is actually super good at! Such a brave boy, and before long he was all dry, fluffy and ready for the finishing touches. 🐾✂️

After finishing up his cut, Boris was looking super handsome and feeling fresh again! 😍

Always a pleasure to have you in, Boris. Such a lovely boy from start to finish. 🥰🐶

✨ Fudge’s Pamper Day ✨🐾

Fudge was my last handsome boy of the day yesterday, and what a gentleman he is! 🥰 Such a gentle, sweet boy who came in for a little bit of a reset groom, and he was an absolute star from start to finish. 💚

We started off, of course, with some cuddles before getting down to business. Then it was time for a pre-shave before his bath, and Fudge was AMAZING! He was so patient and just sat there calmly while I worked away, letting me do my thing. 🥹

Then into the bath for a good scrub to get him all fresh and clean — and once again, such a good boy! 🛁✨ He was equally as brilliant for the dryer, and when it came to finishing off his groom, Fudge was an absolute pro. He made my job so easy! 🐶💚

I did, once again, get far too distracted choosing the perfect bandana and completely forgot to get some proper after photos 😂🤦‍♀️ Thankfully, Fudge’s lovely owner sent me some photos of him at home, all clean, handsome and chilling out after his pamper. 🥰

And just look at all that hair that came off him! 😮🐾 A proper reset indeed!

What a lovely boy Fudge is. It was an absolute pleasure having him in the salon, and you are always welcome back anytime, handsome boy! 💚🐶✨

✨ Millie’s Pamper Day ✨

The gorgeous Millie was back in the salon today for another little pamper, and what a beautiful girl she is! 🥰🐾

Millie is such a sweet girl, although she can be a little nervous at times. But with plenty of cuddles, reassurance and a few gentle words, we always get through it together. 💚

First up was her bath, and Millie was such a good girl! 🛁 She got all fresh and clean before we moved onto the dryer, which is definitely the part she finds a little more nerve-wracking. With lots of patience, encouragement and cuddles, she did her very best. 🥹💕

Then it was onto her trim, and Millie absolutely smashed it! ✂️ She was such a good girl and sat beautifully while we got her looking all lovely and tidy again.

By the end, Millie was looking gorgeous and ready to head home after her pamper. 🥰

✨🐾 Olive’s Grooming Day! 🐾✨

Our beautiful Olive was back in the salon again today, and what a pretty girl she is! 🥰💚

Of course, we had to start with some cuddles because Olive absolutely deserves them! Then it was straight into the bath she went, and honestly, this girl is pretty much a grooming pro at this point! 🛁🐶 She was such a good girl and made the whole process look easy.

Once she was all lovely and clean, it was time to get her nice and dry and fluffy before moving onto her groom. ✨✂️

Today Olive had her usual cut, and she even had the honour of christening my brand-new cordless clippers! 😂✂️💚 They certainly got their first proper outing with a very special customer!

We tidied up her face and feet, and before we knew it, Olive was looking like her beautiful self again. 🥰

It’s always such a pleasure having Olive in the salon. She’s such a gorgeous girl and always welcome back for more cuddles and pampering! 💚🐾

✨🐾 Alfie’s Pamper Day! 🐾✨

Today we had the absolute pleasure of meeting little Alfie, our adorable Yorkie cross, and what a little cutie he is! 🥰💚

Alfie was a little nervous when he first arrived, so we took things nice and slowly. He had plenty of time to have a good sniff around the salon, get himself settled and, of course, enjoy lots of cuddles before we headed into the bath. 🛁🐶

Our brave little boy did so well for his bath and got himself all lovely and clean! Then came the dryer… and at first Alfie wasn’t too sure about that noisy thing! 😅 With lots of reassurance, cuddles and encouragement, he soon realised he was safe and we managed to get him all nice and fluffy. 💚

Then it was time for his little trim. Alfie was a very good boy, although he did have a few little fidgets along the way! We tidied up his legs and feet and cleared his face so those gorgeous little features could shine through. ✂️✨

To finish off his pamper, Alfie got to pick out a cute bandana before heading home looking absolutely handsome! 🎀🥰

Well done, Alfie — you were such a brave boy today! It was lovely meeting you and you’re always welcome back for more cuddles and pampering! 🐾💚

Arlo the Labrador came into the salon today, and where do I even start with this handsome boy? 🤎🐾

Arlo is a character in the very best way. He’s full of energy, like a little whirlwind from the moment he walks through the door! He takes his job of protecting the salon very seriously too, making sure every single person who walked past knew he was there with his powerful bark. Underneath all that excitement though is such a compassionate, loving boy with the sweetest personality.

First things first, it was bath time! Arlo wasn’t quite convinced that staying in the bath was part of the plan, but after a little negotiation we treated him to a Peanut & Pickle de-shed mud mask, followed by a lovely scrub with their Strawberry & Vanilla shampoo. By the end, he was smelling absolutely amazing and his coat was already feeling so much healthier.

His owner told me that drying would probably be his favourite part… and they were absolutely right! As soon as the dryer came on, Arlo completely relaxed. He stood so calmly and let me get him all lovely, fluffy and dry. Such a good boy!

Once the dryer was switched off though… the whirlwind returned! 😂 It was back to zooming around like a bull in a china shop. Standing still on the table wasn’t on Arlo’s agenda—he was far more interested in getting Laureen’s attention!

With plenty of cuddles, treats and Laureen keeping him happily distracted, we managed to get his nails done. He was such a brave boy, and after a really good de-shed brush to remove all that loose coat, he finished off his pamper with a handsome new bandana.

Arlo had us laughing all day with his funny personality and endless enthusiasm. He’s such a lovable boy with so much character, and it was an absolute pleasure to have him in the salon.
