🐾✂️ Skipper’s Groom Day! 💚🐶

Now, believe it or not, Skipper is a Cockerpoo… although I think the poodle genes might have got lost somewhere along the way! 😂🐾

Skipper is a very sweet girl, but she was feeling a little nervous and unsure about our groom today, so we took things at her pace! 💕 I started off by letting her have a good sniff around the salon, with plenty of cuddles and reassurance to help her feel comfortable before we got started.

First up was bath time, and Skipper was an absolute angel! 🛁🫧 She was so good for her bath and then absolutely smashed her drying session too! 🌟 She was such a brave girl, and I was so proud of how well she did, especially when she was feeling a little unsure at first. 🥹💚

Next up was her haircut! ✂️ Her owners wanted a nice, short, manageable look for Skipper, so that’s exactly what we went for, and doesn’t she look beautiful?! 😍🐶

Of course, we couldn’t finish without a little photoshoot 📸 followed by plenty more cuddles before she headed home! 💕

It was such a pleasure meeting you today, Skipper! You did so well, little lady, and I can’t wait to see you again next time! 🐾

🐾☁️ Flo the Newfiepoo’s Groom Day! ☁️🐾

Lovely Flo was back in the salon today for another pamper! 💚🐶

Flo is the sweetest girl and an absolute BIG bundle of fluff! 🥰 She always misses mum when she first leaves, so we start off with a little howling and whining 😂💕 But once she settles in, she really is a superstar throughout her groom!

We got started with a lovely bath, getting her all lathered up and working the shampoo through her coat with a good brush to help loosen any knots and get right down into all that gorgeous fluff! 🛁🫧 After a good rinse, she had a little towel dry before it was time for the BIG drying job!

And wow, Flo was an absolute angel for drying! 😍 It felt like it took forever to get through all that coat, but she was so good the whole time, even resting her lovely big head on me while I worked. 🥹💚

Once she was finally all dry and fluffed up, it was time for her haircut! ✂️ Her owner likes to keep her short but still nice and fluffy, so that’s exactly the look we went for, and doesn’t she look AMAZING?! 😍☁️

Of course, we had to get some gorgeous pictures of her before she headed home to mum! 📸💕

Thank you for coming in again today, Flo! You really are such a lovely girl, and I can’t wait to see you next time! 🐾💚

🐾💚 Stan the Man’s Groom Day! 💚🐾

Last in the salon today was the one and only Stan the Man! 😂🐶 And when I say this boy is a UNIT, I mean it! An absolute big softie with plenty of love, kisses and a whole lot of bounce! 🥰

We started with lots of cuddles and kisses before heading into the bath 🛁 Getting into the bath? No problem! Staying in the bath? Well, that was a whole different story! 🤣 Stan decided he’d rather make a great escape, so we had a little wrestling match to see who would win! 💪😂

Somehow, I managed to get him all lathered up with his Peanut & Pickle mud mask to help with his deshedding, rinsed him off and then let him have a little freedom around the salon… which obviously resulted in a very wet floor! 🌊🐾

Next was drying, and Stan was a good boy… apart from occasionally trying to chomp the dryer and showing me those big scary teeth! 😂 But with his little bum wiggling, tail wagging and kisses coming my way, it was pretty clear he thought the whole thing was one big game! He’s a real softie underneath it all. ❤️

I then followed him around the salon with a deshedding brush, checked his ears and nails (all good!), and before we knew it, he was smelling amazing and ready for home! ✨ We even squeezed in a little playtime with a toy before he lay down nicely, waiting for his mum. 🧸

And apparently, he enjoyed himself so much that he didn’t even want to go home! 😂❤️

Such a pleasure having you in today, Stan! Although I think I’ve had a full-body workout after that one! 💪🤣

🐾🤎 Dotty’s Groom Day! 🤎🐾

Dotty came into the salon today, new to me but not new to the salon! 🥰 She’s such a sweet girl and was an absolute pleasure to have in for her pamper.

We got started with a lovely bath, getting her all lathered up and squeaky clean 🛁✨ Then onto the dryer, which she was a very good girl for!

Next was her haircut ✂️ Her owners like her short but still fluffy, and doesn’t she look absolutely adorable! 😍 Of course, we couldn’t finish without a little mini photo shoot to show off her gorgeous new look! 📸🐶

🐾🍂 Rue’s Groom Day! 🍂🐾

Today I had the absolute pleasure of grooming the very sweet Rue! 🥰💗

Rue is such a loving girl who absolutely adores a cuddle! We started off by letting her have a good sniff around the salon, plenty of cuddles and, of course, a few treats to make her feel right at home! 🦴🐾

Then it was time for her bath and a good scrub, which she was absolutely brilliant for! 🛁✨ Next up was drying, and once again, Rue was a superstar. She was more than happy to cuddle into me while I got her all dry! 🥹💕

Onto her haircut! As Rue is a hunting dog who loves her adventures, her owners prefer to keep her nice and short to make life a little easier for her outdoor escapades. She looked absolutely gorgeous with her fresh new look! 😍🐶

Obviously, we had to squeeze in a couple of photoshoots before she headed home to show off her new look! 📸🍂

Such a sweet, cuddly girl from start to finish. Thank you for trusting me with your gorgeous girl, Rue — you’re always welcome back! 💚🐾

🎃🐾 Winnie & Dory’s Halloween Grooms! 🐾🎃

Today I had these two lovely ladies, Winnie and Dory, in for their grooms, and what a pair of funny little characters they are! 🥰💚 Both girls are super sweet and loving, and it was clear to see just how much they love each other!

Winnie was a little unsure of me at first, but once she realised I wasn’t there to hurt her or her sister and that we were just here for a little pamper, she soon settled down. ❤️

We started with Dory’s bath and dry, with Winnie keeping a VERY close eye on me the whole time and whining away while her sister was being pampered! 😂👀 Dory did really well with her bath and drying, even with her sister keeping watch over everything.

Then it was Winnie’s turn! After all that worrying and whining while watching Dory, I thought she was going to hate every second of her own bath and dry… but nope! She was good as gold! 🛁✨ Of course, Dory then decided it was HER turn to whine while her sister was being pampered. 😂 Honestly, these two had me giggling all day!

Once they were both lovely and clean, we moved on to their trims, keeping things nice and light with just a little tidy-up to freshen them up. ✂️🐾

And of course, we couldn’t let them leave without a little Halloween photoshoot! 🎃👻 They were all ready to head home looking gorgeous after their pamper.

Both girls were absolute stars, full of personality and such funny little souls. It’s so lovely seeing the bond they share and how much they look out for one another. 💚🐶

🎃🐾 Koda’s Second Puppy Pamper! 🐾🎃

Our lovely little Koda came in for his second puppy pamper today, and he’s making such lovely progress! 🥹💚

Puppy pampers are so important as they help introduce little ones to the grooming process slowly and positively. The goal is to build their confidence, get them used to the different sights, sounds and sensations, and help them feel safe and comfortable before they’re ready for their big boy haircut! ✂️🐶

Koda can be a little nervous when his owners first leave, but after a few cuddles and some reassurance, he soon settles in with me. 🥰

We started off in the bath, which isn’t quite his favourite part, but he was such a brave boy and did super well! 🛁 Then it was time for drying. The loud noise can be a little scary at first, but with plenty of cuddles, patience and reassurance, he soon settled and let me get him all fluffed up. 💚

Next, we tidied up his fluffy little feet and shaved his paw pads, and he was an absolute superstar! He even stood so nicely when I needed him to. 🐾✨

Every visit is another little step towards building his confidence, and before we know it, this little fluffball will be ready for his big boy haircut! 🥹

Of course, we couldn’t finish without a little Halloween photoshoot! 🎃👻 How cute does he look?!
