Benson the Golden Retriever puppy made his first visit to Paws of Preston Dog Grooming Salon this week and what an entrance he made! 🐾💛
He bounced through the door full of excitement and settled in for his puppy pamper session, starting with a gentle cleansing bath using puppy-safe products to keep his coat soft, fresh, and healthy.
Benson quickly decided the dryer definitely wasn’t for him 🤣 so most of the groom was spent with him wrapped around my neck for moral support.
Even with all the cuddles, Benson did brilliantly for his first professional groom. He stood beautifully on the table while I carefully tidied his paw pads, introduced him to the grooming process at his own pace, and trimmed those very sharp puppy nails to keep his paws neat and comfortable. ✂️
First puppy grooms are all about building confidence, creating positive experiences, and helping little ones feel safe and relaxed during their visits — and Benson was an absolute superstar throughout.
