Sunday Evening 🐾🌙

As another weekend comes to a close, it’s worth thinking about where your dog is happiest and safest when you’re away. ❤️🐶

There’s a real difference between having someone dog sit in your own home and using a licensed home boarding service.

🏠 Dog sitting in your own home can be convenient, but the person caring for your dog may not be operating under the same licensing requirements. You also need to consider their experience, insurance, DBS checks, emergency arrangements and what happens if they can no longer provide the care.

🐾 Licensed home boarding provides an additional level of reassurance. At Dandy Dogue Services:

✔️ Our home is inspected and licensed by Torbay Council
✔️ We are insured and DBS checked
✔️ We follow specific welfare, safety and hygiene requirements
✔️ Dogs stay in a genuine home-from-home environment
✔️ We have clear requirements for vaccinations, health and suitability
✔️ Every dog has a trial stay before boarding
✔️ We are licensed for up to 6 dogs, allowing us to provide personal attention

Most importantly, we want your dog to feel like they are having their own little holiday, rather than simply being somewhere to sleep while you’re away. 🐕❤️

We currently have some availability for September and October, although spaces are limited.

🌤️ Thursday evening at Dandy Dogue Services! 🐾

Well, it’s nice to have the weather feeling a little more normal again! 😎 After all that heat, a cooler evening with a bit of sunshine is very welcome — and the dogs certainly seem to agree! 🐶❤️

It’s all about getting out, having a good sniff, a little exercise and then settling down in the garden or at home for a well-earned rest.

Because at Dandy Dogue, we believe a relaxed dog is a happy dog. 🐾💤

And with the summer holidays moving on, we’re already looking ahead to September and October. We still have a limited number of spaces available, so if your dog needs a home-from-home while you’re away, get in touch.
