Today my husband Ben looked after Izzy, Teddy, Marnie and Evie the PWD’s. They are such such a unique breed and their wool coats were so soft to stroke.

It’s been a busy time with cat drop‑ins, and honestly, my heart is so full. Every visit has been a mix of cuddles, sass, slow blinks, and those little greetings that make this job the best. From the chatty ones to the shy ones, they all have their own personalities — and spending time with them has been such a joy.

I recently did a drop‑in for Taco, and it absolutely made my day. I haven’t seen him in a while, so getting a big happy greeting from him was just the loveliest surprise. He always makes me smile — such a little ray of sunshine.

We’ve just finished our drop‑ins with the lovely Eric the cat — always the gentleman, but absolutely not shy about shouting at me when I wasn’t quick enough with his dinner 😂

This video raises the importance of how hot pavements can be and how it would feel for your dogs in this weather.

Summer tip: test pavement with the back of your hand for 7 seconds. If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for paws. Walk early or late, bring water, and watch for heavy panting

Hi everyone,
I’m back behind the wheel today for the first time since my fractures — having a husband who’s a driving instructor and an automatic car definitely helps 😂
I’m back at the hospital next Monday and, fingers crossed, should be getting my cast off.
I can’t wait to be back on my feet and seeing all my furry friends again soon 💛

I’m still off my feet at the moment, but my husband Ben has been helping me out with visits — and he looked after our good friend Baxter at the weekend. Baxter kept wondering where I’d disappeared to 😂 He was such a good boy for Ben, and there were plenty of belly rubs to go around.

Hi everyone, thought I would do a quick update. I’m having surgery on my leg today and the doctors are saying not to put any weight on it for at least six weeks. I will send messages to people when I’m feeling a bit better after to discuss plans.

I have been getting out and about with thanks to my husband and I’m looking forward to get back to Petsitting as soon as I am better.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to give a quick update. I had a bit of a tumble at home this morning and, unfortunately, ended up with three fractures. I’m heading to the John Radcliffe tomorrow for further checks, and I should know more about what’s going on and how long it’ll be before I’m back on my feet.

In the meantime, I’m being very well looked after — my mum’s dog, Lily, and Angel are all keeping me company and making sure I don’t get too much peace and quiet.

Thank you for your understanding and support while I recover. 💛
