This is Lovely Maple, who was getting lots of love and attention on reception after her grass seed removal today.

Grass seeds are very common this time of year and we have removed lots of them over the past few months. If you have a dog that loves rolling around in the grass please make sure you are brushing them and checking them for grass seeds afterwards.

They may look harmless but can become quite troublesome if they manage to get under the skin - meaning they can start to migrate through the body which can cause problems such as infections and abscesses.

Ears, eyes and toes are common places for this to occur.
