Phoenix and I had a brilliant jump lesson with working on keeping both the balance and power in the canter as it’s hard for him to do both! He was his usual awesome self as always, and he’s giving such a consistently great feel around a course 💪🏻 We are running at Aston on Friday in the BE100 so fingers crossed we can get a goon run in 🤞🏻

Floof really did me proud this weekend!
We went to the Riding Club Eventing Championships representing British Riding Clubs
On day one we scored a 26.5 dressage putting us in 3rd place, followed by a clear jumping round. At the end of day one, we were lying in 2nd so all to play for!
Day two, we knew before XC we were sat in 1st, as the leader had picked up some time faults. He then jumped a foot perfect clear inside the time to finish on our dressage to win not only the section but overall individual as well which was a complete shock! 😱
Completely chuffed with him, he really is the best pony in the world 🥰 and a massive thank you to all the helpers and the riding club team for being absolutely awesome! 🙌🏻

Phoenix is officially a BE100 pony 😍 Someone was very hyped up to be back at a party - and that was before he put eyes on the xc jumps next to our arena 😈 So we started with a bit of a wired dressage test for 37.2. Show jumping he was brilliant! I rode a little too forwards through a combination so just rolled one. I’ve been so used to having to really push him to maintain a horse stride length, but now he’s needing less help so I need to remember to sit quiet! XC he was an absolute legend and jumped clear inside the time making it all feel super easy 🥳
Thanks to for getting us here, it’s taken time and consistency but it’s all clicked together this year 🙌🏻
He really is the best little pony, he’s such a trier and even with me on board slightly dying from laryngitis and a chest infection he still got us round 😇 it was great we had loads of the team out supporting us as well! .eq

Yesterday was a really hard day. We had to kiss goodbye to Ralph and let him cause chaos in heaven 🌈🧡 After 9 months of rehabbing suspensories with everyone trying their absolute hardest to give him the best possible life post rehab, he sustained a new completely unrelated field injury that we couldn’t bring him back from. It breaks my heart to try so hard and not be able to save him, but he is in a better place 😞
He was the kindest, gentlest soul, but still had a cheeky streak and would bu**er off without a chiffney in 😂 so we will cherish the memories, the good ones, funny ones like sharing my coffee and pastries, as well as the ones where I couldn’t catch him after he got loose 😂
Rest in peace you overgrown carrot Labrador pony 🧡🕊️
