Monday 6th April at Lockinge point to point. 75 year old Mark Smith, who had his first ride point to point 60 years ago, is doing a fundraiser for The Injured Jockey Fund.

During that time he has ridden under NH rules, evented internationally, show jumped and team chased. He has coached world class eventing and show jumping proteges.

He is aware how lucky he is to have not needed the help of The Injured Jockeys Fund but he knows many people the charity has supported.

Now accepting his good fortune of still being able to ride at his age, he has decided to try and help The Injured Jockeys Fund. Supported by the Oaksey House Team and Mick Fitz he is doing a fundraiser event by riding in the hunt race at the Old Berks Hunt point to point on Easter Monday. As always, it will be a great day out for the whole family, with the opportunity to donate to the fundraiser on the day as well as on here.
