The whole of our region and neighbouring regions have been in the Very High category for Fire Severity, we are now seeing areas to the South moving into Exceptional!
Our advice is to refrain from having BBQ's in the Countryside, leave them for your garden where you have a water supply.
Do not have bonfires, even at home, a small fire can very quickly become a large fire.
Do not discard ci******es, put them out fully before disposing of, we see many fires on grass verges where it is believed a cigarette has been flicked out the window.
Take your litter home, especially glass bottles.
