This gorgeous little bambi foal had her headcollar on for the first time this morning. No drama, no histrionics, I just walked and put it on and adjusted it. What a head she has on those lovely sloping shoulders!
Note to self: you cannot keep this foal, you cannot keep this foal

These PREs are so bright. The day before yesterday I lunged Karmele in the canter to remind her that life isn't all walk and trot. Then yesterday, she goes off of my aiding at the first time of asking into canter. Correct lead every time. What a complete babe!

Sweet Karmele a few days ago in her 3rd or 4th day at trot work. She had been a little reluctant previously due to her obsession with the foal, that had been out in the paddock. Understandable really as she has been a broodmare. Really good to feel her taking the handbrake off.
