Record levels of rescue animals in RSPCA care mean there has never been a more urgent time to consider adoption 📢

As part of , we’re shining a light on rescue animals and encouraging anyone thinking of getting a pet to consider giving a second chance to an animal in need.

With over 6,000 animals currently in RSPCA national centres across England and Wales, opening your heart and home makes a world of difference.

Please consider adopting today, or share this post to help us reach potential adopters: https://bit.ly/4yxVg8F

Watch out - Autumn is about! And that means lots more pet dangers to be aware of!🎃😨

🍂 Keep poisons and antifreeze stored away securely - ingestion of these requires EMERGENCY attention!!
🍂 Keep dogs in view at all times when out and about and practice good recall to limit the possibility of them eating something they shouldn't
🍂 Stay visible at night - wear bright, reflective clothing
🍂 Keep sweets and chocolates out of reach at all times
🍂 Keep up to date with flea and tick treatment (yes they're still here, even in colder months!)
🍂 Clean paws with warm water when coming home from walks to wash away any salt & grit spread on the roads and pavements
🍂 Avoid walking nervous/reactive pets after dark in case of any surprise fireworks

Have fun out there, but stay safe!🎃

Those early years bring a lot of change.

HealthCheck360 for Young Pets gives an experienced veterinary nurse time to look at how your puppy or kitten is growing and developing, while supporting you with the everyday care that helps them get off to a healthy start.

Their check can cover growth, weight and nutrition, vaccinations, behaviour and socialisation, alongside a full physical examination.

You can also get practical coaching on things like teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and nail clipping.

For puppies up to 2 years old and kittens up to 1 year.
