A big Embark welcome to beautiful 8-month-old Rottweiler, Casey!

Casey is a rescue from Bosnia and has now found her forever home, joining her new sister Lucky, who is also a rescue.

What amazing owners they have, opening their hearts and home to give not one, but two rescue girls a second chance at a happy life.

🐾 Grooming Schedule Reminder 🐾

Grooming prices are based on dogs being maintained on the recommended schedule for their breed and coat type, with the original price based on the preferred length and style. Please see the chart below for guidance.

When appointments are extended beyond the recommended schedule, coats can become longer, compacted or matted, requiring additional products, preparation and drying time.

For dogs requiring clipping, pre-clipping before bathing may sometimes be necessary if the coat is difficult to work through, or they don't tolerate brushing or the dryer well. This adds extra time and can cause clipper blades to dull more quickly, requiring more frequent sharpening. The coat is then clipped again after bathing and drying to achieve the finished result.

The welfare and comfort of every dog will always be my utmost priority. Where additional preparation or a different approach is needed to ensure the groom is carried out as comfortably and safely as possible, this will always take precedence.

Appointments outside the recommended schedule will be subject to an additional charge where extra work is required, including pre-clipping, working through compacted or matted coats, de-shedding, additional preparation or extended grooming time. This reflects the additional time, products and work involved.

Keeping dogs on their recommended schedule helps maintain their coat, makes grooming more comfortable and helps avoid additional charges. If you're unsure about the best schedule, or would like to discuss what's most suitable for a particular breed, coat type or preferred length, please get in touch. I'm always happy to advise.

Coat preparation is the first stage of the groom. The time you invest at the beginning will always show in the finished result.

The real magic happens in the tub and at the drying table. Shampooing, conditioning and thorough fluff drying are the foundation of a beautiful, professional finish. If the coat isn't prepared properly, the final groom can look uneven, choppy and lack definition.

This is particularly important with wool-coated Poodle crosses, such as tight-curled Labradoodles and Cockapoos. Their dense, highly absorbent coats are naturally prone to matting, tangling and frizz, making the preparation stage even more important.
