🎆Help to turn the big bangs into the big calm
Fireworks can be frightening for people, but for dogs, the noise is even more intense due to their incredible hearing! 🐶
Tackling a dog’s fear of fireworks can be challenging and will require some preparation, as there is rarely a quick fix.

Please can we all be vigilant - we are getting an abundance of injured hedgehogs brought in caught in wire netting or garden shrubbery.
Please do not leave loose netting around on the ground, if it is in use in the garden, pull it taut and leave a gap of about 10cm underneath for hedgehogs.
Hedgehogs get caught in all sorts of nets, wire mesh and garden vines. If you have a tennis or a badminton net or a football goal post, make sure the net is lifted off the ground at the end of play.
This is an increasingly turbulent time for hedgehogs, please lets see if we can all help them navigate their natural way of life in a safe space.
