From Walking Boots to Clippers 🤎✂️

A little update since I officially hung up my dog walking boots…

Tails N Tubs Dog Grooming is now OPEN! 🥹

It still feels slightly surreal saying that after spending so long planning, training and getting the cabin ready, but I’ve now had my first week in the salon and absolutely loved it

And I’d love to see some familiar Wag Walker faces coming through the doors too 🐾

Tails N Tubs is a one to one grooming salon in Omagh, meaning your dog has the salon completely to themselves for their appointment. No cages, no other dogs waiting around, just a quieter, more relaxed environment where I can work at their pace

So while I might not be arriving at the door with a lead anymore, I can still be the person you trust with their baths, haircuts, desheds, nail trims and general pampering

Give Tails N Tubs a follow, or send the page a message with your dog’s breed and what they need done and I’ll get you sorted

The End of an Era 🤎

After five years of muddy paws, wagging tails and more miles than I could ever begin to count, I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from dog walking

The Wag Walker started with exactly that… walking dogs. It’s where this whole journey began, and over the last five years I’ve had the absolute privilege of looking after so many wonderful dogs, while also getting to know the humans at the other end of their leads too

But as one chapter comes to an end, another is beginning!

With my dog grooming cabin opening, I’ve decided it’s time to put my energy into growing Tails N Tubs and seeing where this next adventure takes me

All existing bookings outside of regular dog walks will still stand

And, of course, all of my Wag Walker doggies will always be very welcome to come and visit me at the grooming cabin

It feels incredibly strange closing the door on something that has been such a huge part of my life for the last five years. What started as me walking a few dogs became a business, introduced me to some amazing people and dogs, and ultimately led me to where I am now

It’s just time for me to hang up the walking boots and pick up the clippers

Thank you to every single person who has trusted me with their dogs over the last five years. I genuinely wouldn’t be starting this next chapter without you 🤗

I’m Officially Qualified! 🤎👩‍🎓

Today I graduated and achieved my OCN Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming ✂️

I’ve spent the last few months learning and growing as a groomer. Every dog that has stood on my table has taught me something, and I’m so grateful for the experience

A huge thank you to Thomas, Kara and Kelly for all of the support, encouragement and knowledge throughout the course. I couldn’t have done it without you 🤗

For anyone who has followed my journey so far, you’ll know this is about so much more than a qualification. It’s the beginning of two businesses that I’ve poured my heart into… Tails N Tubs Dog Grooming and Tails & Veils Wedding Dog Chaperone 🫧👰🏻‍♀️

With my grooming cabin arriving on the 5th July and both businesses preparing to launch, it feels like an exciting new chapter is just beginning

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, followed along, trusted me with their dogs, and cheered me on. It genuinely means more than you’ll ever know 🥰

Welcome to Tails & Veils 🤎💍

I’m Rebecca, founder of Tails & Veils

Some of you may already know me from The Wag Walker NI, where I’ve spent the last 4+ years providing dog walking, home boarding and pet care services across Northern Ireland. During that time, I’ve had the privilege of caring for hundreds of dogs, building lasting relationships with their families and learning that no two dogs are ever quite the same

Over the years, I’ve discovered the areas of the industry I’m most passionate about. As a newly qualified dog groomer, I’m excited to be launching Tails N Tubs Dog Grooming, while also expanding a service I’ve thoroughly enjoyed providing along the way… helping dogs be part of life’s biggest moments through Tails & Veils

For me, this next chapter is all about specialising in the services I love most, while continuing to provide the same level of care, professionalism and dedication that my clients have come to know and trust

I know first hand how important it can feel to include your dog in one of the biggest days of your life. But I also understand the practical challenges that come with it. Who looks after them? Who takes them home? Who makes sure they’re comfortable, safe and happy while you’re busy enjoying every moment of your wedding day?

That’s where I come in

Tails & Veils is a wedding dog chaperone service designed to help couples include their four legged family members in their special day without the added stress

Whether your dog is walking down the aisle, posing for photographs, greeting guests or simply making a special appearance, I’ll be there to provide professional care, transport, supervision and support throughout

I’m so excited to begin this new journey and help couples create unforgettable memories with every member of the family present

Thank you for being here and supporting this new venture

Rebecca 🤎

A little update from me… 💚

Some of you might already know, but alongside The Wag Walker NI I’m currently studying my OCN Level 3 Dog Grooming, with a view of launching my own grooming cabin at Tails N Tubs Dog Grooming here in Omagh 🫧

This has been something I’ve dreamt about for such a long time, so I’m delighted to finally see it all come together 🤗

Tails N Tubs will be a calm, one-to-one grooming space where every dog gets the individual care and attention they deserve!

I’ve started putting together a small waiting list ahead of opening, and anyone on the list will get priority booking before my diary officially opens to the public 🐾

If you’d like to be added, just send me a message with a few details about your doggy and I’ll get them on the list. In the meantime, I can’t wait for this next chapter and to welcome you and your pups to Tails N Tubs 🥰
