Sam is a lovely 7-year-old Thoroughbred gelding looking for his next home and a new career. Having only run in one PTP, he’s very much an unspoilt blank canvas rather than a racehorse and is ready to continue his education.

He is schooling beautifully and works nicely in all three paces with a willing attitude. Sam absolutely loves his jumping and shows plenty of scope, recently clearing a 1.25m single fence with ease. He has all the ingredients to make a cracking hunter or excel in any ridden discipline.

✨ The best thing about Sam is his temperament.
He is an absolute puppy dog to handle and genuinely hard to fault. He loves fuss, is easy to do, and has no vices, lumps, or bumps. He is excellent for the farrier, hacks alone or in company, and isn’t fazed by traffic at all.

Sam is a big, solid stamp of a horse with a huge amount of potential. Because of his size, he is not suitable for novices and would thrive in an experienced home that can continue producing him. I truly believe that in the right hands, he could go a long way.

The only point worth mentioning is that he can occasionally be a little sticky to load. Sometimes it may take around 10 minutes, but this is something we are actively working on with patience and encouragement, and he is improving all the time. I believe his size and confidence play a part, and anyone experienced with horses will understand that these things take time and consistency.

🤎Nice !!!! Dartman … he does have some sarcoids, not in tack area , so please if you can’t deal with sarcoids don’t come and see him !!! 🤎 open to vet inspection the same as all my horses 🤎 15.3 , 6yr old gelding, no vices .. 🤎
