5yo 16.2hh Holstein Gelding
Zazu came over from Holland as a 3yo and has been quietly backed and produced by myself. His Dam has produced 1.30+ jumpers, and he has lightly competed BSJA on a ticket including jumping round some 5yo classes earlier in the year.
He has three smart paces and a capable jump, is a forward responsive ride whilst also being safe and sensible. Snaffle mouthed. Zazu is extremely friendly and an absolute pleasure to do - good to load, bath, for the farrier, vet, dentist, etc. He can be a fidget to clip but doesn’t need sedating and with maturity this should improve.
I’d be looking for him to go to a home where he can enjoy a varied lifestyle; he’s great to hack and will go alone although we don’t hack in heavy traffic. He has popped some small XC fences, and although hesitant he did go in the water. With some more training I don’t see why he couldn’t go on to do some eventing successfully.
He is still young so no novices please, he’s a kind genuine horse ready to continue his career in any phase. No lumps, bumps or vices. Up to date with everything, fit and ready to go. Mid teens 💰
Homes will be vetted 🏠
