So yesterday was the first of a two day camp here organised and run by Tina Fitzgibbon of Equichanics.

The horses all boarded the previous night so they were familiarised with the surroundings and were ready to start the exciting day ahead.
The programme was well thought out with each partnership having time in the school with Tina before the course was set up. Setting up the course together gives a much more in depth knowledge of distance, timings etc from the ground, which is all good knowledge for when actually on board your horse.
The afternoon was familiarising the horses with the equipment in hand, and learning from Tina’s excellent knowledge, experience and insight of this discipline.
It is an absolute pleasure to be hosting this camp, and day two yet to come🙂

Very excited to be hosting the Spring Inspiration Demo here today for Kate Sandel of Soft and Sound

It’s a perfect way to blow off the winter cobwebs, dry out the wellies and receive some wonderful tuition from Kate and her three student combinations today
Each combination of horse and human is very different and it will hopefully give us much to think about and to take away to work with on our own wonderful horses

We were very happy this weekend to host the final clinic of the year for Kate Sandel of Soft and Sound
It was a truly wonderful experience to be able to not only take part, but to watch Kate’s brilliant teaching and to hear the knowledge and guidance that she shared with her students and their horses.
Kate teaches in the Philippe Karl French Classical School of Lightness which has been transformational for myself and my 16yr old Friesan mare. Kate’s approach is always honest, supportive and encouraging. Through her teaching and advice I have found a path to increase my own self awareness and assurance around my horses. I now believe in myself and my horses notice. My mare and I have had many challenges but through them all Kate has been a guiding light with her approach to finding answers to the questions I was asking my horses.
This weekend was absolutely magical for me. I felt that Manni and I were a true partnership, and our progress is down to the teachings of Kate.

To not only host this clinic, but to take part has been a joy from the first horse arriving to the last stable being cleaned out at the end of the second day!
As always, I am so grateful to Kate for choosing us as a venue, but also , to the wonderful guests, both horse and human, we loved having you heređź’•
Above all though, it is my gratitude to Kate that takes top place here, for her brilliant teaching , her unending enthusiasm for all things equine and her absolute dedication to all her students, both human and equine.

So this weekend we hosted the fabulous Edit Kappel clinic
We had 8 horses boarding and Edit stayed with us at East Beere in our lodge
It was an absolute pleasure to meet the participants and spectators who attended and to watch Edit at work.
As a participant myself, I can say that I was delighted with my sessions with Edit. We worked in hand and at liberty over the three days. Edit then rode my Friesan on the third day which was a delight to watch .
We are pleased to say Edit will be back next year, so watch this space to book as many people have already asked for details🙂
