Friday night wasn’t spent relaxing — it was spent preparing for my boarding licence renewal - 10 risk assessments to be exact!( with 4 dogs sat on my limbs!)
There’s still a first aid course to complete, exercise and enrichment plans to prepare, the renewal application to submit, and then the council inspection..

📱 the messages at all times of day and night - my friends wonder why it takes me a week to reply, I’ve probably sent 20 texts in one day to 10 different customers. I’m bored of looking at my phone!
👫 family not coming to visit because they are scared of dogs! I don’t think my mother in law has stepped foot in my house for about 3 months solid! 40 more days Christine and I promise to make you a cuppa!
👣 customers coming into my home which is the most stressful part of the job for me. You might have noticed I’ve started to come meet you outside. It’s not personal. It disrupts the dogs and I don’t need the extra pressure of politely asking someone to leave because I haven’t eaten for 12 hours straight and my tea is ready!
❌ declining family & friends celebrations & not being able to take my children too far away from home during school holidays because “I can’t leave the dogs that long”
A job that has no start time, I certainly don’t clock off at 5pm & i definitely do not have weekends!
So please don’t ask for me to board your puppy you’ve just got last week & I’ve never met, tomorrow for 2 weeks and if I’ll do it “cheap” because he’s a good boy. Another message like this is going to tip me over the edge 😂
