🦄 BB Rising 5yo, 15.1hh Cob Mare 🦄

The most lovely little lady, an amazing young horse for someone to have tonnes of fun with, and a very capable, safe super cob in the making! ❤️

BB is a very good-looking young cob mare, standing at 15.1hh. She is a lovely, cobby type on longer legs, with the perfect combination of the quiet, relaxed personality you would expect from a native type, alongside a willing, responsive and naturally forward attitude. Don't let the feathers fool you! BB is fun and enthusiastic without being strong or rude, is ridden in a snaffle at all times and has lovely, big paces. She also absolutely loves her jumping and has a great little jump on her!

BB is a wonderful little girl, cute and cuddly on the ground, incredibly sweet to handle and a pleasure to do everything with on a daily basis. She is happy living in or out, gets along well with mares and geldings, and is equally happy being left on her own or taken away from her friends. She is fabulous to shoe, with the dentist (doesn't need sedation), pamper, bathe, load and travel.

She really is a “give anything a go” type of cob! I would absolutely love to see her out in the hunting field, popping hedges with a gutsy teenager. She might be chunky, but she is certainly fun, enthusiastic and has so much to offer!

BB has had a very correct, low-pressure start to her education. She walks, trots and canters confidently in the arena and happily pops a jump. She recently attended her first jumping clinic, where she saw fillers for the first time and was completely unbothered by the new environment or the other horses cantering around her. All of this was while being ridden by a middle-aged lady who had never sat on her before, she was absolutely foot perfect, loading and traveling on her own and gave anything a go, wasn't bothered in the slightest by the busyness, mirrors, goats on one end of the arena, fillers and a spooky arena

She has done tonnes of hacking and rides and leads beautifully. She is happy to go both in front and behind, is brilliant in traffic and remains sensible even when cantering at the back of a group. She has also been ridden by a variety of different riders without changing her ways or becoming unsettled by different people. I have even popped my four-year-old daughter on board and led her for a little hack around the village!

BB has all the paces, jump and attitude to turn her hoof to all sorts of disciplines. She would make a fabulous ladies' hunter, Pony Club, Riding Club, mother-and-daughter share or fun all-rounder. She moves well enough to give an aspiring dressage amateur plenty to work with, too.

She is not sharp, tricky or mareish in any way and is not strong, even when cantering at the back of a group out hacking. With the right support and guidance, she could suit a less experienced rider if well supported and being a young horse, she will still need someone who can continue her education sympathetically and bring out the best in her.

BB is a genuinely lovely, kind little horse who has been very much loved and enjoyed. We are looking for a special, experienced forever home where her kind nature will be appreciated, her potential nurtured and where she can continue to be someone's best friend. She has so much to offer the right person, and I would love to see her go on to have a wonderful life with someone who will enjoy her as much as we have

✨ RAZZLE, LOVELY YOUNG CONNEMARA WITH A BRIGHT FUTURE ✨

Fully registered Connemara gelding, Performance type, 4-year-old gelding, Currently standing at 15hh

Razzle is a pretty young Connemara with a huge amount of potential. A smart, sporty type with three correct, expressive paces and a canter that eats up the ground, he could make a fabulous all-rounder for someone looking to bring on a quality young horse.

Having arrived from Ireland, Razzle was quietly backed in the spring and has been given plenty of time to develop both physically and mentally. He has mainly hacked out, enjoying seeing the sights and learning about the world, with very little schooling to date. After a couple of months off over the summer to chill out, he returned to work gently in August and has taken everything in his stride.

Razzle has a lovely, friendly personality, he is a kind, genuine young horse who approaches his work with a lovely attitude. He stands like an absolute saint at the mounting block, happily waiting while you sort your stirrups and get yourself organised!

Out hacking, he is equally happy to lead the way or amble along behind, and he doesn't bat an eyelid when riding alongside another horse. He'll happily canter along behind without rushing if his friend gets ahead, and he's perfectly content to stop for a chat with the neighbours in the sunshine. He's more push than whoosh, while still being responsive and forward-thinking.

He's also ridden and led exceptionally well, without any inclination to pull you around.

One of the available videos shows Razzle enjoying a ride around an arena away from home, where he also had his first introduction to poles on the ground. Despite being in a new environment, he behaved impeccably, showing no spookiness and happily waiting his turn while his friend was filmed.

He's good on the long reins, even out in an open field, and is straightforward to catch, lead and handle. He's happy to have his feet trimmed by the farrier and is equally content living in or out. He'll happily stay on his own in the field or on the yard while his friends come and go, and he patiently ties up for a groom or to be tacked up. He's also a real sweetheart who loves a cuddle!

A lovely blank canvas with exciting potential.

Razzle is an incredibly smart, athletic Connemara with the movement and ability to make a quality competition prospect. His education has never been rushed; he's been allowed the time to strengthen his frame and develop at his own pace.

He has all the basics in place and is now at the very beginning of his ridden education. He had his first little step over a jump under saddle on 17 September 2026 and trotted over in the kindest, sweetest way.

He is green, as you'd expect for a horse of his age and stage of education, but he is willing, genuine and keen to learn. He has not been ridden in gadgets or forced into an artificial outline while still developing.

With his natural athleticism, lovely attitude and three expressive paces, Razzle has the potential to develop into a super all-rounder for an experienced rider, with aspirations towards BE, BD, Riding Club, Cotswold Cup or Grassroots.

Razzle is looking for a sympathetic, confident and knowledgeable partner who understands the importance of giving a young horse time to learn, strengthen and mature. A balanced, confident rider with a kind, consistent approach will allow this lovely chap to flourish and make the most of his natural ability.

For someone who enjoys bringing on a quality youngster and building a relationship from the beginning, Razzle offers a wonderful opportunity.

Smokey — 14.3/15hh, rising 6yo Registered Connemara Gelding

This wonderful little horse has passed his assessment with us with flying colours and absolutely blew us away with his incredibly mature, laid-back attitude. Smokey is the sort of little horse who is very hard not to fall in love with a handsome, compact and talented competition pony with a lovely brain and a genuine desire to please.

He is a beautifully bred, registered Connemara who has been part of a very experienced and hugely horsey family, and has been given the most wonderful, varied start to his education. There really isn’t much this little guy hasn’t seen or tried. He was 1st in the 70cm pairs Hunter Trials at Burghley, 3rd in the pairs and 3rd individually at Bignell Hunter Trials, and 7th in the Solihull Cotswold Cup 70cm. He has also been away for various arena hires and, more recently, attended a group jumping clinic surrounded by green horses, where he behaved impeccably.

This is a seriously smart little horse with Badminton Grassroots written all over him. He is now looking for his next equally competitive rider to continue his education and have lots of fun with him. He has the quiet, kind temperament to be enjoyed by a younger or more experienced rider, whilst also having the talent and ability to really take an ambitious small adult up through the levels.

Smokey is an absolute darling on the ground. He is extremely easygoing, polite and a real pleasure to have around, with the sort of temperament that makes him enjoyable from the moment you arrive at the yard. He hacks happily alone or in company and is excellent over water, ditches and banks. He has seen farm traffic, sheep and cattle and takes everything in his stride. He will happily go in front or behind, and can be ridden and led from. He is always snaffle-mouthed and has a wonderfully sensible attitude to life.

For his age, he is also exceptionally nice on the flat, with a seriously smart, flashy little trot with plenty of expression and a straight, balanced canter. He has enough natural movement that we could easily see him making a lovely dressage horse for the right person too.

He is incredibly easy to jump and is naturally brave without being silly. He doesn’t wobble into a fence or need to be chased, and has jumped everything presented to him without hesitation. Cross country, he maintains a lovely, consistent rhythm and is happy to jump out of a stride without becoming rude or strong, whilst equally being very easy to trot into a fence when required. He has plenty of scope without over-jumping the smaller fences, and we feel his potential is still very much untapped.

Smokey has been produced slowly and correctly by a very talented family of riders, with Mum and the children all sharing him, the youngest being just eight years old. He still needs further fittening and strength development, as you would expect from a horse of his age, but he has a fantastic foundation from which to continue his education.

He doesn’t buck, rear, bronc or nap and is a very safe, genuine young horse, whilst still being young enough to have plenty to learn and develop. He is exceptionally good to shoe, vaccinate, clip and worm, and is easy to load and travel. He is equally well behaved at shows, loves a bath and is generally a pleasure around the yard. He has no vices or skin blemishes and has a small splint.

Above all, Smokey is a really lovely character. He has the kindest eye, a gorgeous head and that eye-catching presence that makes people stop and look. He is quiet and sweet enough to make a wonderful all-round family horse, yet flashy, talented and competitive enough for someone wanting to have a serious amount of fun at amateur level.

A very special little horse with an exceptional attitude, a lovely education behind him and a very exciting future ahead. ❤️

🇮🇪 PLEASE WELCOME… ASTON & MARTIN 🇮🇪

Well, they say good things come in pairs… and these two certainly didn’t disappoint!

Aston (16.1hh, 5yo grey) & Martin (15.2hh, dun and white, 4yo) rolled off the Irish ferry last week and into the yard, and I have to say, whoever designed these two clearly had “turn heads” firmly at the top of the specification list!!

Two VERY good-looking Irish cobs with presence, topline, movement and jump, beautifully showcased by our lovely Elodie

They’re making themselves at home while we get to know them, and Aston (grey) has already blown us away! He very safely took a nervous lady around a fun ride despite her having never ridden him before and he looked after her brilliantly

That sort of temperament is exactly what we love to see in a young horse 🥰

So keep your eyes peeled for plenty more of these two…

One thing is for certain…

They’re not short of horsepower 😂

And before anyone asks… NO, they don’t come with a warranty or free servicing 😂😂

I’m delighted to say that Maccies, Earl & Striker have all now found their new homes 🥰

Maccies & Earl were both beautiful Connemara youngsters who didn’t even make it to the open market, they were snapped up before they had the chance! Both were backed by myself and have been an absolute pleasure to produce. They are both incredibly level-headed, sensible young horses with lovely temperaments and plenty to offer their new owners.

It’s always especially rewarding when the horses you’ve put time, patience and care into producing are recognised and eventually find the right people for them!

Striker has also now sold onto the showjumping world, will keep an eye on that little guy, I have a feeling he will go far, and I’m so pleased to see all three heading off on their next adventures.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported, shared and followed the horses along the way, it really is appreciated.

Wishing Maccies, Earl & Striker and their new owners the very best for the future. I can’t wait to see what they go on to achieve

🦄 BREEZE 9yo 14.2hh Connemara Gelding 🦄

A true and truly lovely little all-round Connemara 💙

Breeze is a 9yo Connemara gelding, standing at 14.2hh (easily measured, he’s not a big 14.2hh), with some lovely breeding.

He is a wonderful little guy, cute as a button, incredibly sweet to handle and a pleasure to do everything with on a daily basis. He is fabulous to shoe, clip, pamper, load and take out and about.

Breeze has been a little girl’s best friend over the past couple of years and has enjoyed doing a bit of everything, including XC clinics, lessons and beach rides.

He has been stabled at Millfield Prep for the past 1.5 years, where he has competed at 60/70cm NSEA and J4S. He qualified for the J4S Winter Nationals at Cricklands and has competed at both local affiliated and unaffiliated competitions at KSEC, Mendip Plains and Dorset Showground.
He was also part of the school team that qualified for the Hickstead Grassroots Summer Nationals this year, as well as the BS J4S Nationals at Stoneleigh this summer.

Breeze has competed up to 80cm and has jumped bigger at home, although we feel he is much more of an all-rounder than a top track competition pony.

He is not fast or sharp enough to be a pony that will go up through the levels, instead, he wants to be someone's lovely "first and half" kind of pony, giving their rider the opportunity to have fun doing a bit of everything.

He would make a fabulous hunting pony, Pony Club pony, mother/daughter share or fun all-rounder, he would suit an elderly rider too. He is not strong, even when cantering at the back of a group out hacking, he is brilliant in traffic and lovely to take out and about

He is snaffle-mouthed and much more “woah” than “go”. His current little rider is now looking to become more competitive than Breeze's abilities allow, hence the sale.

His rider is very lightweight and petite and has ridden him in spurs, but these are not necessary for a stronger or more experienced rider.

Breeze would suit a small adult, mother/daughter share, or a less experienced child who is still learning the ropes and wants a kind, safe pony to enjoy at a lower level.

He is a genuinely lovely, kind little horse who has been very much loved and enjoyed, and we are looking for the right home where he can continue to be someone's best friend.

⭐️ Striker 148cm, 7yo Registered New Forest Pony ⭐️

This wonderful pony has passed all of his assessments with us with flying colours and is the real picture-perfect, talented competition pony.

Striker is a very well-bred, registered New Forest pony and there really isn't much this little guy hasn't done. He has stayed away at Pony Club camp, competed successfully at Pony Club Novice dressage and been placed, as well as competing in unaffiliated show jumping and eventing. He flew around Swalcliffe 90 and Tweseldown 90 and has also jumped at 1m training events.

He has even been trained to pony race and is happy in a racing saddle and going up the gallops. He has competed in GB Endurance at Grade 1, placing in his very first competition.

This is a serious top pony with FEI written all over him, and he is looking for his next equally competitive little rider. He is being moved on for very genuine reasons.

Striker is an absolute darling on the ground, extremely easygoing, polite and a real pleasure to have around. He hacks alone or in company and is very good over water, ditches and banks. He has seen farm traffic, sheep and cows and takes everything in his stride.

He absolutely loves to jump. He is brave and takes you into a fence without being rude, but he can just as easily be trotted into a fence if needed. He finds the jumping very easy and is training beautifully around 1m, with plenty of scope for more. His potential is still very much untapped, having been produced slowly and correctly by a very talented 12-year-old boy.

On the flat he is smart, straight and correct, with a big, horsey canter that the judges love. He really is a very talented competition pony.

He wouldn't be suitable as a first pony for a novice as he is flashy, talented and has a big jump, but he has also looked after a very petite 9-year-old little girl and would suit a smaller, balanced rider who is ready to step up and get the best from him.

Striker is a petite 148 and would be absolutely brilliant for a competitive smaller rider ready to step up from the 138s, but who doesn't want to feel over-horsed. He covers his strides extremely easily and gives a lovely feeling of having plenty of pony underneath you without being too much.

He has never bucked, reared, bronced or napped. He is a very safe pony, but with an engine when you ask for it. He is perfect to shoe, vaccinate, clip, worm, load and travel, and is equally good at shows, to bath and generally around the yard. He has no vices and no blemishes.

He is also incredibly eye-catching, with a gorgeous head and masses of presence.

These three beauties (Plus Peggy) didn't even make it to the open market! 🥰

Big, gentle giant Inka, with all 17hh of him, has now found his forever home. After a lifetime of competing all the way to 4* and teaching young riders, he's now enjoying a well-earned, loving lower-level home on the moors. ❤️

Lovely baby Melody, after being started and taking to her ridden career like a duck to water, has landed on her feet in a wonderful, knowledgeable local home.

The most wonderful, biggest, derpiest and sweetest 4-year-old cob I have ever come across, big baby Otis, is now happily settled and very much loved by his new family.

And lovely little Peggy, only recently advertised, is staying very local! I'm sure we'll be seeing plenty of her out and about. ☺️

Finding the right homes is just as big a passion for us as breaking in and producing these wonderful horses.

Please form an orderly queue!! 🌺 Ophelia 🌺 is ready to find her new partner in crime! 🤎✨

Ophelia is a stunning 15.2/15.3hh Welsh x Sport horse, 5-year-old palomino mare looking for her next adventure.

Professionally broken and produced last year, Ophelia has already had a fantastic start to her education. She has enjoyed arena hires, cross-country schooling, a couple of outings, and has even met the hounds.

After a winter break, she has been slowly and correctly brought back into work. Since then, we've concentrated on her schooling, she's back jumping courses with fillers, and has been to her first fun ride, where she was incredibly fun, brave, and an absolute pleasure throughout.

Ophelia is a bold, genuine, and exciting ride. She has plenty of energy and engine without being hot or silly. She is forward-thinking, intelligent, and always wants to get on with the job.

She has all the attributes to become an outstanding grassroots event horse. Don't let her chunky build fool you, this big girl is athletic, has an impressive jump, and is very clever behind. She absolutely loves to jump and is incredibly enthusiastic, never backing off a fence. With a little more strengthening and mileage, I believe she has every chance of being a competitive 100/110cm horse for someone wanting to progress up the levels.

She also has the presence and movement to excel as a working hunter, eventer, or dressage horse. She's brave enough to happily pop hedges all day while hunting, yet sensible enough to make a fantastic all-rounder in the right home.

Ophelia has a bright, bubbly personality and absolutely loves being out and about. At her first fun ride she happily galloped through open countryside, fields of cows, swam in the river, and even chased canoes! She's definitely a water baby! She jumped everything asked of her out of her stride with confidence and ease.

She really is a lovely combination of both breeds, with the presence, character, and enthusiasm of a Welsh, but without the dragon-like, spooky side (thank goodness!), combined with the athleticism and scope of a Warmblood.

She is still a young horse with plenty of power, so she would ideally suit someone who enjoys the Welsh type but wants a more sporty version with less silliness. Due to her age and ability, she isn't suitable for a novice rider. Although she is genuine and doesn't do anything wrong, she is young, powerful, and appreciates a balanced, confident rider.

Her paces are lovely and there's still plenty of improvement to come on the flat. Her canter is simply to die for! You could sit it holding a pint without spilling a drop!

Her jump is bold, careful, and still green, with plenty of scope. She's quick off the ground and has all the ingredients to become a serious cross-country machine.

As if her talent wasn't enough, she turns heads everywhere she goes. She's incredibly sweet on the ground, easy to handle, shoe, and manage day to day. She loads first time, travels beautifully, and has behaved exactly the same away from home as she does at home.

Ophelia is homebred and has been with the same family all her life, receiving a kind, correct start and excellent handling throughout. She is a much-loved mare, and we are looking for the very best home where she can continue to fulfil her huge potential.
