Meet Winnie, today was her second visit to us.
You might ask why people bring breeds like this for a groom - it’s actually really important on various levels:

•Lip and nose fold cleaning - super important for health and hygiene!

•Nail trimming - nails that are too long can alter bone structure in toes!

•Habituation - learning to deal with different experiences. Better Winnie knows us and is calm in the salon, than it’s an emergency, and she needs to come in and freaks out!

I had to post this awesome work by the talented Julie Baker.
She very kindly gifted me a picture of my dog, and I was so impressed that I asked for a commission of Diesel, my assistant Poppy’s dog.
Needless to say Poppy was thrilled, as was I. Julie totally captured the smiling but naughty look on Diesel’s face!
Thank you Julie 🩵 Julie Baker - Instagram and FB

My lovely assistant Poppy doing a fab job grooming Alfie the Poodle. I am super lucky to have such great help!
Poodles are some of the hardest grooms to do, due to their coats, and the style of trim required.
