Before anything else, we’d like to say a huge thank you to Kara Boyd and the Fairy DogMother Team for creating the High Achievement Awards. What makes these awards so special is that they celebrate the dedication, professionalism and achievements of everyday working groomers. They recognise the groomers who work tirelessly behind the scenes, caring for their clients’ dogs day in and day out, and shine a spotlight on the passion and commitment that goes into our profession every single day.

To be recognised by fellow grooming professionals, who truly understand the skill, dedication, professionalism and commitment that this career demands, is an incredible honour and one we’re immensely proud of.

Winning West Midlands Groomer of the Year was already an achievement we’ll always be proud of, with the national finals still to come in November. To now also receive recognition within our own industry is a completely different feeling, and one we will never take for granted.

None of this would be possible without our amazing clients, who trust us with their beloved dogs every single day, and our wonderful family and team, who support us through everything. Thank you for believing in us and allowing us to do a job we genuinely love.

Finally, a huge thank you to whoever took the time to nominate us. We may never know who you are, but your support and belief in what we do means more than you’ll ever know.

🐶 Training Groom Appointment Available – Tomorrow at 9:00am 🐶

We have one discounted training groom appointment available tomorrow at 9:00am.

Your dog will be groomed by one of our trainee groomers under my direct supervision throughout the session, making this a great opportunity to receive a discounted groom while supporting the next generation of professional dog groomers.

🕘 Drop-off: 9:00am
🕧 Collection: Approximately 12:30pm

If you’d like to book this appointment, please send us a message with your dog’s breed, age and coat type.

Suitable for friendly dogs that are comfortable being groomed. Unfortunately, we cannot accept heavily matted dogs or dogs with a history of aggression for training appointments.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Alfie for all of his hard work during his work experience with us this week.

It has been an absolute pleasure having you in the salon. You’ve been polite, enthusiastic, eager to learn and always willing to get stuck in – qualities that will take you a long way.

Considering you’re only in Year 5, your passion for dog grooming has been fantastic to see, and we hope this experience has given you a little insight into life in a busy grooming salon.

Everyone here at Wags K9 Services wishes you all the very best with your studies and whatever the future holds. We hope one day your dream comes true and your mum finally gives in and lets you have that little Dachshund you’ve been wishing for. We know you’ll make a fantastic pet owner when that day comes! 🐾💜
