🐴 MEET THE TEAM — SOPHIE 🐴

Next up in our Meet the Team series is our lovely Sophie! 👋

At just 16, Sophie has already spent her whole life around horses and animals. She has also been a member of the Pony Club for over 10 years and has represented the Atherstone Hunt at the National Championships, where her team placed 2nd in the country last year. 🏆

Sophie currently has two horses of her own. Flora, a Dartmoor Hill Pony, was her very first horse and has taught her so much throughout her riding journey. Then there’s Violet, her younger horse, who Sophie has been producing herself since buying her as a four-year-old. Sophie currently enjoys competing in dressage, as well as the occasional show jumping, and hopes to progress to higher levels of dressage and compete more in jumping in the future. 🐴

When she’s not at the yard, Sophie enjoys spending time with her friends and going ice skating.

Here at Manor House Farm, Sophie is one of those people who is always happy to get stuck in. She’s a hardworking member of the team who uses her initiative and is always willing to help wherever she can. She has a wonderful way with the horses and genuinely cares about them, making sure they are happy, well cared for and treated as individuals. ❤️

Sophie has also become a lovely part of our yard community. Our liveries really enjoy having her around and she has built some great relationships with both them and their horses. She’s friendly, helpful and always happy to lend a hand, making her a genuinely valued member of our team.

We’re very lucky to have Sophie as part of the Manor House Farm family and look forward to seeing her continue to grow in confidence and experience! ❤️

Vet Claire had the pleasure of visiting these two ponies yesterday, they were very happy in their custom built accommodation 😍. Happy weekend all 😁☀️
