🐾 GLEBE FARM BOARDING KENNELS & CATTERY 🐾
IMPORTANT VACCINATION REMINDER

Here at Glebe Farm, every member of staff and management follows exactly the same vaccination rules and requirements. There are no exceptions or different rules for individual customers.

💉 STANDARD YEARLY BOOSTERS
Your dog’s standard yearly vaccinations and boosters are mandatory for boarding with us. We cannot accept a dog into kennels without the required vaccinations and valid vaccination evidence.

🐶 KENNEL COUGH VACCINATION
The kennel cough vaccination is optional and is a decision for you, as the owner, to make in consultation with your own vet. Your vet can advise you on the available options and what may be appropriate for your dog.

However, if you choose to have the kennel cough vaccination given, it must be administered at least 3 weeks before your dog comes into kennels.

This is because kennel cough vaccination is a live vaccine, and the three-week timeframe is part of the requirements of our council licensing conditions.

⚠️ PLEASE CHECK YOUR DATES CAREFULLY

We provide customers with information regarding our vaccination requirements and terms and conditions, and we also regularly post reminders on our page.

Ultimately, it is the owner’s responsibility to decide whether they wish to have the kennel cough vaccination and, if they do, to ensure that it is given within the required timeframe.

If you arrive at the kennels and the kennel cough vaccination has been given less than 3 weeks before your dog’s stay, unfortunately, we cannot accept your dog. This is not a decision made by individual staff members — we have to comply with our licensing requirements, and we cannot put our licence at risk.

💷 DEPOSITS

Please also be aware that where a booking cannot go ahead because the vaccination requirements have not been met, deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because the vaccination requirement is the responsibility of the pet owner and is not an error or cancellation by Glebe Farm.

❤️ PLEASE BE KIND TO OUR STAFF

We understand that vaccination requirements can sometimes be confusing, and we are always happy to explain them. However, rudeness or unacceptable behaviour towards our staff will not be tolerated. Our team is simply following the same rules and licensing requirements that apply to every customer.

If you are unsure about any of our vaccination requirements, please give us a call or pop into the kennels and speak to us. We will be more than happy to explain everything in detail and answer any questions you may have.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and, most importantly, thank you for your cooperation and understanding. 🐾❤️

🐾 Polite Reminder – Kennel Cough Vaccination

Please note that the kennel cough vaccination is not a requirement of our kennel licence conditions and is therefore entirely optional.

However, if you choose to have your dog vaccinated against kennel cough, the vaccination must be administered at least 3 weeks before your dog’s stay with us.

This is because the kennel cough vaccine is a live vaccine, and our licence terms and conditions require us to ensure that the appropriate period has passed before a dog boards with us.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept any dog for boarding, regardless of the circumstances, if the kennel cough vaccination has been given less than 3 weeks before their stay.

We kindly ask all owners to check the vaccination date carefully when making their booking.

***please note yearly booster vaccines are a mandatory requirement ***

Many thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation. 🐾
