Nuneaton Dog Training Club Nuneaton dog training club provides training and activities for dogs of all ages and abilities.

Nuneaton Dog Training Club is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who between them have collectively accumulated a lot of experience training all kinds of dogs and has been helping the local community for over 60 years. From problem dogs to Pedigree pooches, NDTC has someone who can advise you how to get the very best out of your dog. The Club aims specifically not to train the dogs, but to ins

truct handlers in the training of their own dogs to levels of behaviour and obedience required. Fundamentals of Patience, Kindness, Firmness and Persistence are carried through all training classes to help ensure both dog and owner achieve desired results with a consistent approach throughout. With regularly scheduled classes to suit all levels of ability, from young puppy to mature dog, NDTC can offer you and your dog every opportunity to attain the standards you so desire.

As a club, we owe so much to John Werrett. John had been a long-standing member for many, many years and was a familiar face at Nuneaton Dog Training Club – someone everyone knew and loved to see.

John’s contributions to the club were vast, and it would be impossible to list them all – John was certainly a very busy man!

We know that our members, both past and present, will have so many wonderful memories, funny stories and messages of thanks that they would like to share as we remember John.

From the evening of Wednesday 2nd September, a memory book will be available in the clubhouse. We would love for you to take a moment to write down your memories of John. In time, these memories will be shared with John’s family.

If you are unable to attend the club but would still like to contribute to the memory book, please send a message to our page, starting your message with FAO Zoe Gilbert. Zoe will be coordinating the collection of these messages.

We hope that, together, we can create a wonderful collection of memories that reflects just how much John meant to so many people at Nuneaton Dog Training Club.

It is with great sadness that the committee write to let you all know that John Werrett sadly passed away on Monday, John had recently been undergoing treatment for cancer. He will be greatly missed by us all, he was not only club treasurer but also the 'constant' face of NDTC, always there, always making sure things ran smoothly & always helping with everything. I'm sure you will all join me in sending our condolences to his wife, Lyn & family.

The Good Citizen team at the Kennel Club are running an examiner assessment course on Friday 14th at the Kennel Club building CV8 2LZ and are in need of some help.
