Meet Nala & Jasper 🐈🐈

It’s been a lovely week of cat visits, making sure these two were happy, fed and had plenty of fuss while their owners were away. ❤️

Nala warmed straight up to us and absolutely loved the attention! 🥰 Jasper took a little longer to come around, but by the end of the week he was happily lapping up all the fuss too. 🐾

It’s always lovely when they start to trust you and show their little personalities. 💕

Back to work tomorrow… and that means back to the usual routines for everyone! 🐶🐾

The summer holidays have flown by, and whilst the kids are still enjoying their last few days, I’m getting ready to juggle work, family life and my Mooch with a Pooch pet care visits. ❤️

No dog walks for me today 🐶❌ and actually, none tomorrow either!

I’ve just got one little cat visit to do later today 🐱❤️

Today is our anniversary, so we’ve been out for breakfast with the kids this morning. It was lovely, but tonight I’m really looking forward to some time with just the two of us. No kids, no work and no rushing around… just a bit of us time ❤️

And tomorrow is another quiet one on the dog walking front, with Alfie out of action while he recovers and Winston having a day at doggy day care 🐶

So I’m making the most of the slower couple of days before normal service resumes! 🐾

Poor Alfie 💙🐶

Last week I noticed Alfie was struggling a little with some of his walks and was limping on and off. At first, I wasn't sure if he had hurt his paw or just tweaked something, so we took things a little easier.

A couple of his walks were cancelled this week just to be on the safe side, and today he went to the vets to get checked over.

Unfortunately, I've now had the call to say that Alfie has cruciate ligament damage and is going to need surgery. 💔

It means I won't be walking Alfie for the next few months while he has his operation and recovers. As much as I'll miss seeing him, his recovery has to come first, and we'll make sure he gets all the rest and time he needs. 🐾

It's never easy when one of the dogs you look after isn't well, and I know his family will be worried about him. Fingers crossed for a successful surgery and a smooth recovery for this gorgeous boy. 💙

Get well soon Alfie! We can't wait to see you back out enjoying your walks when you're ready. 🥺🐶💙
