Did you know, our pets can also suffer from diabetes?

Georgie the toy poodle was diagnosed with diabetes by one of our veterinary surgeons.

Diabetes is a condition which develops when a dog is unable to produce enough insulin to control their blood sugar levels. This can be extremely dangerous, and even fatal if left untreated.

Diabetes requires careful monitoring, so we were able to fit a temporary monitoring device to Georgie, allowing his owners to get regular blood glucose readings without the need for repeated sampling! 🐶🐾

Poor little Teddy decided to experiment with some mushrooms 🍄 but they weren't the magical kind. Here he is having a tiny detox.
Its that time of year again when the fungi among us start to sprout and spore, and our furry friends are tempted to have a little nibble.
Follow the link below to see the UKs most poisonous-mushrooms but be mindful that any mushroom can cause a nasty gastrointestinal upset and its best to get it out before any harm can be caused.
