Hey all, G here 👋 Today was my last day at LuBella Pet Co.🥹🫶🏼

One year ago, I agreed to help out my friend for a week… a year later I’m doing my last shift♥️

I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know all of the customers and your wonderful pets over the last 12 months and have appreciated all the giggles, conversations and doggy cuddles 🐶

Your Mondays and Saturdays just got boring 😞 jokes..🤣🤣Whoever takes on the baton of best customer service I’m sure will follow my legendary status (just look at lubellas Google reviews 👀🤣)

I’ll miss ya’ll♥️

Thank you all, over and out ✌️♥️

🚨 RAWHIDE ISN’T A HARMLESS TREAT!🚨🐶

That cheap chew you’re giving your dog to keep them occupied could come with some serious risks 😭

❌ Choking hazard! As rawhide softens, it can become slippery and rubbery, and dogs may swallow large pieces that can get stuck in their throat.

❌ Intestinal blockages! Rawhide isn’t easily digested. Swallowed chunks can cause dangerous blockages that may require emergency surgery.

❌ Digestive upset! Some dogs experience vomiting, diarrhoea and stomach discomfort after chewing rawhide.

❌ Unclear ingredients and processing! Rawhide is made from animal hides and can undergo extensive processing. The quality and processing methods vary between products.

❌ Not suitable for every dog! Some dogs gulp their chews rather than chewing them properly, increasing the risk of choking or obstruction.

🐾 So, what should you give instead?

At LuBella, we believe in making informed choices about what goes into our dogs’ bodies. Depending on your dog’s size, chewing style and dietary needs, consider suitable natural chews such as rabbit ears, beef tendons or other appropriately sized animal chews. Always supervise your dog, and remember that natural doesn’t automatically mean risk free!

💬 Did you know about the risks of rawhide? Let us know in the comments!
