THANK YOU 🤩 to Apollo Signs and Engraving for supplying & fitting our new signage today

It definitely looks much smarter, the old ones had become worn & faded, which isn’t surprising as they have been there almost 10 years, just like us! 😬🐶❤️✂️

We will be modifying the front of the shop further in the coming weeks 🤩

💕 🐶 ☀️ T H A N K Y O U ☀️ 🐶 💕

None of us can escape the fact that it’s been an extremely warm week ☀️🥵

We are delighted to have been successful in operating business as usual due to our wonderful air-conditioning system, also thank you to our customers for arriving for their appointments at just the right time in air conditioned cars to ensure your dogs were kept cool at all times 🐶🙂

In fact, we dare say that Hair Of The Dog has been the coolest place to be this week 😎

Here are the GORGEOUS new paws who visited this week, and as you can see, they all look as cool and as calm as cucumber 🥒 🥰

Love

🥵🐶☀️ HEATWAVE INCOMING! ☀️🐶🥵

We will be operating as usual

Our salon has a great air-conditioning system, we can also drop the blinds if necessary, fresh drinking water will be available as always

Please do not walk your dogs to the salon in the heat

If anybody has any concerns or needs to change their appointment, please get in touch via your usual method

One thing we do ask is that you do not turn up early for your appointment please, since waiting inside often makes dogs being groomed on the table very excited to see you, and it will be too warm to wait outside on our bench

We will monitor the situation throughout the week and if we do feel it is necessary to close the salon or make adjustments to the schedule we will keep those of you with appointments updated

We have included a guide to help you keep your dog safe during these warmer temperatures

Many thanks for your cooperation

How stunning is Koda? 🤩

Koda is two thirds Husky & one third Pomeranian 😍

He has a beautiful double coat, which was in need of a good deshed. We achieved this by bathing & blowdrying, lots of brushing & combing then we finished his look by giving him a good tidy up with scissors ✂️

We gave him a nice shaped bum too - photo in the comments 🍑☺️👌🏽

Marley the Maltichon! (Maltese x Bichon)

How adorable is he? Marley had his first puppy pamper at 14 weeks old

We always advise puppies come in for grooming as soon as possible so they can get used to the process and also we can talk to the owners about how to brush and comb the dogs at home and advise the best schedule for visiting the salon

Of course we couldn’t choose a photo so we’ve used four! 🐶❤️🐶😁
