Why Recall?

😮‍💨If we can give our dogs a Real outlet, through the ability to run, sniff and explore, then everything else becomes wayyy easier.

🗣️being able to give our dogs freedom to make decisions, without us giving them unnecessary tension at the end of the lead makes feedback and communication much clearer.

🤪 It’s fun! Not only do we want a happy dog, we want a happy owner that can enjoy seeing their dog have fun and express themselves off lead, and just be a dog!

One thing that sets us apart…

We don’t just train your dog and send you on your way.

We make sure that you are completely comfortable to enjoy your dogs life with them. To be able to do the things that you both enjoy. The things that you thought getting a dog would consist of.

You can do all of the training you want. But if it doesn’t work In the real world, then it’s pointless.

We aren’t here to build a robot with endless obedience. We’re here to build a relationship that means you can enjoy life together.

Think about your relationship with your parents vs the relationship you have with your boss.

With your boss, it’s very transactional: you do what they ask in return for payment.

In contrast with your parents, where the relationship is relational: you do the things they ask because you love them and actually want to do it for them. Not because of what you might get in return.

If you fall into the trap of making your relationship with your dog too transactional, when the ‘payment’ is removed - they then have no reason to do what you have asked them to.

So what this means for you and your dog is simple. Show them that you are proud with emotion and body language - not just treats 🥰

If you feel like you can’t enjoy your dog as much as you would like to. If you feel like you can’t let them be a dog , be off lead and go to places that are going to be busy with other dogs.
