These three babies are coming down to Devon with me where their new homes will be picking them up and guys....my lavender girlie found her home! πŸ₯ΉπŸ˜

I've been raising her since the 6th June 2025 when she hatched and yeah, I am a little sad to see her go. She's going to a great home though and my customers have been fantastic for updating me on how their babies are doing, I'm sure I'll still be seeing her ☺️

Those who are able to attend the IHS show, enjoy! We'll definitely be there for 2027 😸πŸ₯³

Upgrades people, upgrades! πŸ‘πŸ‘

I definitely wanted to provide a little bit more alongside the hatchlings this season so now they come with:
🟒 Their ID tag and travel container
🟒 A hatchling tag
🟒 A sticker (these came out so crisp!)
🟒 A small carryable bag to make transporting easier if you're driving alone or travelling by public transport

I'm not able to attend the IHS show this summer as I'll be in Devon from the 7th - 11th. If you're down that end of the country and would like a hognose, check out my MorphMarket and send me a message - a bunch of 2025 babies have been added 😊

We are in the process of moving again so I'm a little bit behind on posts but this is Tammie's second clutch!..yes there is only one, I'll be keeping a very close eye on her next year to see if maybe she's been munching on a couple of eggs 🀨

Looks like we've got a male conda with some crazy hets - 100% het toffeebelly, 100% het caramel, 66% het albino, 50% het axanthic. That's definitely the most I've ever stacked πŸ˜†

Oh the horror!
This is the tiny lavender baby from Marissa's only clutch, she hatched out of a half mouldy egg at 4g compared to her 7g and 8g siblings

I am really pleased to report that she's eaten a couple of meals, I was definitely worried that she'd be too small to take a pinkie but the girl is NOT bogged down by that at all!

In her spare time she's a professional drama queen and flips herself over at literally every opportunity to play dead πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Our final egg of the 2026 season has pipped!
This is Tammie's one lonely double clutch (I suspect she ate the other eggs, she can't keep getting away with this! πŸ˜–)

This little guy is a normal coloured conda and has already mastered their mum's bombastic side eye. Her first clutch is eating really well, I've just got one baby out of ten who stubbornly won't accept any scents so far but the rest are already over five unscented meals in so will be available for rehoming relatively soon 😊

Pips pips pips!
These babies have left me w a i t i n g, even despite the higher temperatures we've experienced recently they still went 62 days at 26.5Β° - 27Β° (unfortunately with the occasional 28Β° during the crazy heatwave, which considering that the room was 33Β° I will take as a win)

This is Daisy and Rodger's second clutch, a dainty seven and we now know that these eggs can indeed hatch snows! We've got two normals poking their heads out so far, I'd love to see another axanthic 🫣🀭

Her first clutch are eating like absolute monsters so fingers crossed these guys continue that trend πŸ’ͺ

Marissa's first ever clutch has hatched!
There were originally six eggs but two went bad during incubation.
Half of two eggs began to grow a bit mould but seemed to pull through, one of the babies that hatched unfortunately passed away a day later and was extremely small. The other one is the lavender who is still with us but is also noticeably smaller than the others, hopefully she eats well🀞

These are my first arctics, as they shed we'll discover who inherited arctic from their mum 😊
We've got:
- Arctic
- Albino (Maybe arctic?)
- Lavender (I suppose it could be arctic too?)

With the new batches of babies we get to play my favourite game - male ♂️ or female! ♀️

The s*x of a hognose can typically be determined from the shape and length of their tail; short and wide is a female, long and thin is a male.

It can be tricky to tell with fresh hatchlings but what do you think we've got here? One to seven from left to right, leave your guesses below!

Question for the breeders again!
So the male was 66% het toffeebelly to a toffeebelly conda female, he's magically het albino but I wasn't expecting it and now I have to try and assess if any of these albinos are toffee albinos.

I'm absolutely stumped, so the picture on the left is an albino from a different female. On the right is Tammie's albino, it's not as clear on camera but her albinos are a brighter orange with a crisper, whiter background colour compared to the yellows of Daisy's albinos.
Or, just to confuse things further I also got the albino conda from Tammie in the last picture which looks just like her.

If anybody knows what to look for please let me know, so far I have only found people saying that you just can't tell πŸ˜…πŸ˜
